TENSION16 sts and 24 rows measure 10 cm square over rev st st with 5.00 mm (no. 6) needles and two yarns (a thread of Feeling yarn and a thread of Silk Mohair yarn) held together.

INSTRUCTIONSNote: work with a thread of Feeling yarn and a thread of Silk Mohair yarn held together throughout.

Yoke: with 5.00 mm (no. 6) knitting needles and a scrap yarn cast on 26 sts. Cut scrap yarn and, with a thread of Feeling yarn and a thread of Silk Mohair yarn held together, work Large Cable Motif as shown in Diagram 1 on 26 sts (working crossing stitches as indicated on STITCHES). Rep motif 11 times. At end, unravel scrap yarn from cast-on sts and, with yarn needle and working yarn, sew these sts , stitch by stitch, with corresponding 26 sts on needle in kitchener st.

Neck border (upper part of yoke): with 5.00 mm (no. 6) circular needle (cm 80 long) pick up and K 160 sts along a yoke side (this side will be upper side) and work 20 rounds in rev st st (all rounds P in circular working) as follows: on 3rd round dec 16 sts evenly distributed (= 144 sts remain). Change to 5.00 mm (no. 6) circular needle (cm 40 long) and also on 7th, 11th, 15th, 17th and 19th rounds dec 16 sts evenly, above previous decs. 64 sts remain. When 20 rounds in rev st st are worked, work 2 rounds in garter st (1 round K and 1 round P in circular working), then cast off all sts loosely.

Front and Back: on opposite side of yoke (lower side) put 4 stitch-markers to distribute length in 4 parts, corresponding to: 68 sts for Front, 68 sts for Back and 32 sts for each Sleeve.Using 5.00 mm (no. 6) circular needle (cm 80 long) pick up and K68 sts for Front, cast on 16 new sts for underarm, pick up and K68 sts for Back, cast on 16 new sts for other underarm. There are 168 sts. Remove the stitch-markes and use only a stich-mark between last st of a round and first st of next round. Work 1 round P. Round 1: * K1-below (K1 into stitch 1 row below, on alternate round work K1), 11 sts following Diagram 2 (working crossing STITCHES as indicated on stitches), K1-be-low, 11 sts following Diagram 3 (working crossing stitches as indicated on STITCHES); rep from * 6 more times (= 14 cable motifs). Cont to work as stated, inc 1 st at either side of each cable every 8th row 8 times: work inc sts in reverse st st. There are 392 sts. When 66 rounds are worked and this part mea-sures cm 27,5 from picked-up sts, work 4 rounds in garter st. Cast off all sts loosely.

Sleeves (make 2): with 5.00 mm (no. 6) circular needle (cm 40 long) pick up and K 32 sts along yoke side (sleeve part), pick up and K 16 sts along underarm cast-on sts. There are 48 sts. Work 1 round P. Round 1: * K1-below, 11 sts fol-lowing Diagram 2, K1-below, 11 sts following Diagram 3; rep from * once more (= 4 cable motifs). Cont to work as stated, inc 1 st at either side of each cable every 8th row 8 times: work inc sts in reverse st st. There are 112 sts. When 66 rounds are worked and Sleeve measures cm 27,5, work 4 rounds in garter st. Cast off all sts loosely.
