The current President and CEO of FedEx Express began his career as a courier in 1976. He held positions in sales and operations before taking his current position. Our current vice president for the region began his career with FedEx as a Truck Washer in 1973. After holding several positions, he was promoted to managing director and then vice president for the region. Our Managing Director for India started his career at FedEx in the hub operations. He moved up the ranks through various positions in operations management and GSP before taking his present position.

Behind Every ExperienceTogether, on 24th September, 2007, Rohan Kabra and Anish D’Souza lived by the Purple Promise and defied the limitations set by time to deliver a critical package containing life saving medicine for a 10 year old old girl suffering from Cancer and admitted in Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.

Behind Every FedEx ExperienceTogether, on 30th June, 2007, the Mumbai Ramp Ramp Team kept the Purple Promise alive weathering heavy thundering showers to move 50 tonnes of cargo. The team with their courage, strong hearts and dedication, the freight was built and moved on the ramp for the upliftment.

Together, on April 4th, 2007, Nitin Dewan and his team orchestrated an outstanding delivery, by shipping 900 kgs of chocolates to Dubai. The shipment being heavy and perishable, it had to move on the commercial mode. The team worked with great great commitment to obtain obtain clearances and permissions from the Customs Office.

We work with global nonprofit organizations to assist in relief, recovery and disaster-preparedness planning.  Working with more than 20 government and relief organizations to deliver more than one million pounds of supplies following the tsunamis in Southeast Asia. Transporting relief supplies for victims of earthquakes in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and India. FedEx has helped Heart to Heart move disaster-relief supplies to China, Honduras, India, Israel, Iraq, Jamaica, Peru, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Turkey and Vietnam Supporting organizations that positively impact communities around the world We have pledged $1 million to Junior Achievement Worldwide to develop programs in 11 Asian Pacific countries.
