I have always involved myself in a multitude of activities both before and after I embarked on my profes- sional career. The most important drivers for my contribution to a non-profit Organisation are education and professional development and a strong belief that these two will improve the standards of veterinary care for our patients and enhance the good image of the veterinary profession. Taking into account my previous experiences as the Honorary Treasurer working for European Veterinary Dental Society and Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations I extend my appli- cation to teh Honorary Treasurer of WSAVA. I know that my involvement in the veterinary profession over the years, in all its many and varied forms, has allowed me to become the person I am today. My profession and the work I have done in Poland, Europe and around the World is undoubtedly hugely important to me. This is the the work ethic I hope to carry to the WSAVA. My Relations with WSAVA Starting in 2003, I have represented the Polish Small Animal Veterinary Association at the WSAVA Assem- bly and I have attended every WSAVA Congress and General Assembly Meeting since. I have also had the honour to participate in some of the WSAVA Congresses as a lecturer. I was a member of the WSAVA CE Committee initially when my association was a beneficiary and then later when it could offer CE to develop- ing associations. From 2014, I have sat on the Congress Steering Committee and from 2015 worked on the WSAVA Dental Guidelines which I had honour to design with Dr Brook Niemiec. Currently I am the chair of the Local Host Committee of the joint 45th WSAVA Congress and 26th FECAVA Eurocongress hopefully to be held in March 2021.
