What is it you ask?

The Constitution is a new found independence and a fresh start. It tells about the House of Representatives, the Senate, the three branches, etc. It also states what the governments powers are.

Anti-federalists think that the Constitution is going to take away the rights of the people, but it is made for the people.

The checks and balances system make sure that no branch holds more power than another. That way there is no absolute

power, like in other countries.

Before you start thinking this is a permanent constitution, remember this, nothing is set

in stone. The document CAN have changes made, when necessary. It may

even include a Bill of Rights for your personal protection.

Why should it be ratified?The Constitution should be ratified because

it is an improvement from the Articles of Confederation. This country needs stability,

balance and unity, and this constitution gives us that. We will have a country in harmony once this is approved and can begin to build our independent futures.
