Natto is a traditional Japanese food produced through a fermentation process and adding Bacillus natto, a beneficial bacterium to boiled soybean. Natto has been used in Japanese culture for over 1000 year for its popular taste and as a folk remedy for heart and vascular disease纳豆是种日本传统食品。它是由一种在烹煮黄豆过程中所产生的纳豆菌发酵而成的食品。纳豆在日本文化中存在已超过1000年,它不但符合大众口味并被用为治疗心脏疾病和血管疾病的民间偏方。

History of Natto 纳豆的历史 ?

Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi discovered nattokinase in 1908 at the University of Chicago. After testing over 173 natural foods, Dr Sumi discovered the sticky “threads “in natto exhibited fibrinolytic ( blood clot busting) activity. This happen when natto was dropped onto a blood clot in a Petri dish at body temperature, the clot was gone within 18 hours. He names this powerful fibrinolytic enzyme “Nattokinase”.
