May 1-3, 2020 Registration for the 4th Annual Gregorian Chant Workshop, with Canon Wulfran Lebocq, former chant master at the Institute’s Seminary in Gricigliano and currently Prior at Sacred Heart Church in Limerick, Ireland will be offered at St. Francis de Sales Oratory on May 1-3, 2020. The workshop will start for all participants on Friday, May 1 at 4:00 pm. For advanced singers, there will be Friday morning classes, beginning at 9:00 am, which will offer intensive teaching and practice.

The DeSales Heritage Foundation is in existence since January 2018. This entity is a public chari-ty, tax-exempt under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). All donations made to the Foundation are therefore tax deductible ac-cording to IRC Section 170. The governing in-strument of this Foundation provides that its pur-pose is to promote and support the restoration, preservation and improvement of our church building, an historically and architecturally signif-icant structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This narrow objective is meant to encourage companies, associations and other enti-ties that may not wish to support religion, as such, to contribute to the important cause of the restora-tion of our magnificent church.

Photo Use Policy

As an integral part of its mission, the Institute may take or acquire photographs that communicate news about the implementation of it mission and vision. These photographs may be routinely pub-lished in printed and digital publications and train-ing materials, and/or on its website or other social media platforms.

The Institute is committed to the responsible use of these photographs. Under no circumstances will the Institute knowingly publish photographs that could be an embarrassment, cause scandal, or bring discredit to the Institute or the individuals in any photograph. Neither full names nor contact information will be published alongside any pho-tographed adult without the individual’s prior written consent, and no image of an individual will be used in any fundraising appeal without that individual’s prior written consent. Attribution credit will be given when required by applicable copyright laws. As a courtesy, and to the extent possible, the Institute will decline to use an image, or will promptly remove an image, upon request. In some circumstances, however, it may be impos-sible to accommodate such a request, as for exam-ple when the image is of a large group at a public event.

By permitting a minor to participate in the Insti-tute’s public events, such as Masses, Baptisms, Confirmations, performances, community out-reach projects, and similar events, parents and guardians will be deemed to have consented to the Institute’s policy. Parents and guardians will be asked to provide written permission for use of a minor’s image in a manner consistent with this policy at the Institute’s private events.

O C The Oratory Cleaning Crews put the church in or-der after the final Mass each Sunday. This involves light dust mopping and clearing the pews of handouts, etc. New volunteers will be most wel-come and can call the office at (314) 771-3100 to sign up.
