WHAT I WORKED ON THIS MONTH
I put the hard drive into the PC case this month. I had inserted a 2 terabyte hard drive into the case. This will provide the space for storing media files, documents, or anything else that I will need downloaded onto my pc. I also looked at some videos on YouTube that were informational. These videos told me how to put the hard drive in successfully. And what it did. I also learned about data transfer rates, and how they are very important when you are choosing a hard drive. These data transfer rates will determine how fast you can save, and access files on your hard drive.

WHAT I LEARNED THIS MONTH
This month I learned how to put a hard drive into a PC case. I also learned how to hook it up to the power supply, and the motherboard. After I had learned how to do these things, I looked up the transfer rate of data on different hard drives, so that I could buy one that best suited my needs. I had learned from my mentor and YouTube that the rate at which a hard drive transfers data is very important. It is almost as important as how much storage you have.

MY GOALS FOR NEXT MONTH
Next month I will be finishing up my pc, and making sure everything works. If it does not work I will have to go back into the pc and make sure everything is put into place correctly. After I have got everything working I will install windows 8 onto it, and plug it in. Once I have it plugged in I will run some tests to figure out the overall performance, and decide whether I put together the PC efficiently, and well enough.
