Pacific Power supports nonprofit organizations in our communities. In November, we teamed up with our longtime partner RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) to assist Project Warm-Up.

Sixty volunteers with Project Warm-Up knit, crochet and sew quilts, hats, blankets and scarves to distribute to those in need in Yakima County. Project volunteers helped package and distribute more than 4,000 handmade items this past year.

According to Deborah Wilson, program director, “The goal is to help low-income families and seniors, and people at risk to provide them with warm items for cold winters.”
