Pieces of a puzzle, threads of a tapestry, stones in a mosaic, bricks in a building; however you look at it, apart they just remain separate pieces, but together they become something beautiful! It amazes me when I take a moment to look at the previous year and see how everyone has worked together, combining their time, talents, and gifts to do amazing things to help those in need. Time after time, these gifts and talents are put into service for others. Seeing the beauty of the bigger picture that each volunteer or donation has brought forth and how it makes a difference in the brokenness and healing of others, is inspiring. Together, each individual piece, no matter how small or big, is an integral part of the bigger beautiful picture. What do these pieces of the puzzle look like? They are volunteers who take a bed to someone who has been sleeping on the floor; make a meal for a sick family or sandwiches for those at the shelter. Other pieces are those who work together to help raise funds for all that we do in our many fundraisers; and those who assist with paperwork and incoming calls for help. Still others make a visit to someone sick or elderly, or respond immediately to a need for an emergency donation. These are just a few pieces of the larger puzzle. All pieces are necessary for the creation of the final picture we create together. Could you be a missing piece? We are truly blessed to have such amazing volunteers and donors. I thank God for all of our volunteers and those who have made donations, and invite others to join us to be the hands and feet of Christ here on earth, so together we can touch the hearts of others with Christ's love. Eagle Scout Project Benefits Divine Mercy Outreach

For his Eagle Scout project, Joe Karpovich led an effort to collect toiletries to be given to the less fortunate. Thanks to Joe, the scouts who assisted with this project and the generosity of the residents in the neighborhoods where the items were collected, many families and individuals in need will be assisted. Divine Mercy Outreach is so grateful for the large amount of toiletry items we received, and the wonderful, organized manner in which they were given to us. God bless you!! Joe and his troop with a few of the many boxes

they filled with the toiletry items they collected.
