For more than 30 years, your participation in this treasured and time honored event has provided over $1 million in financial assistance to hundreds of girls wanting to be a part of the Assumption experience. Tonight's CallersMelissa Swan is one of the most recognized co-anchors in Louisville for WHAS11. For 25 years, she has traveled around the world to bring Kentuckiana viewers the stories unfolding across the country that affect their lives.

Melissa has won numerous Society of Professional Journalism Awards for her reporting. She has been awarded two Regional Emmys. Melissa has also received international recognition for distinguished journalism from the International Association of Firefighters for a series on how to escape from a burning home and how to protect your family before the fire begins. She was inducted into the Assumption Hall of Fame in 2010.

Live Auction Rules• The Live Auction begins at 8:30 p.m. and will continue until the final item’s

bidding is complete.

• To place a bid, bidders should raise their bid cards high and get the attention of either a spotter or the auctioneer. Use only the bidding number assigned to you on your name tag. Each bid is deemed contractual and fully obligates the bidder to pay his or her individual bid price.

• Assumption High School and its volunteers have been diligent in attempting to determine and catalog items and services accurately. However, certain items and services may have limited or restricted use and/or other qualifications associated with them. It is possible and even likely this may affect their value and use. Furthermore, many items, such as vacation homes/condos, are non-transferable. Purchasers are bound to any and all restrictions as specified by the donors. Please review them carefully.

• Some items of high value may have a minimum opening bid.

• High bids and bidders alike are to be determined solely by the auctioneer. If, at any time, the auctioneer determines that an opening bid or any subsequent bid is not commensurate with the value of the item or items offered, the auctioneer may cancel the auction of that item or items. In addition, the auctioneer has the unalienable right to refuse the advance of an opening bid if deemed to be of an insufficient amount. name tag, please check in at the registration table. • The Silent Auction opens for bidding at 6:00 p.m.• Silent Auction items have minimum opening bids or selected items can be purchased

through BUY IT NOW.• Bids may be raised in $5 or $10 increments.• All bid sheets will be collected at the closing time of each session. Bid sheets will be

returned to the Silent Auction table. Winners will be circled on the bid sheets.• The highest bid entered at the time the Silent Auction closes for the evening wins the item.• After winning an auction, the winning bidder must pick up the “winning” bid sheet

obtained from the auction volunteers. The winner will then take the “winning” bid sheet to the money room for payment. After payment is received in full, the winner may bring back the slip marked “paid in full” and pick up his or her merchandise.

• The Wheel of Fortune provides up to 20 chances on designated items at prices listed in the program. It is not uncommon for one person to purchase all 20 chances on a particular item.

• Once all 20 chances are sold, we will spin the wheel for the winning number. The wheel will spin until all items are won.

• In the event of the wheel arrow stopping exactly between two numbers, there will be a spin-off between the two number holders. The holder of the lower number will be assigned numbers 1-10. The holder of the higher number will be assigned numbers 11-20.

• The next spin will determine the winner.
