Sixty-four (64) 2 ½" squares from fabric A

Fifty (50) 1 ½" squares from fabric B

Seven (7) 1 ½" squares from fabric C

Seven (7) 1 ½" squares from fabric D

One (1) 16 ½" x 14" rectangle from fabric E

One (1) 16 ½" x 7" rectangle from fabric E

CONSTRUCT ION

Sew all rights sides together with ¼"seam allowance.

DIAGRAM 1

• Wewillbemaking64littleblockswithsnowballcorners.

• Placethesmallsquares(fabricB, C, D)onthelargersquares(fabricA)rightsidestogether,matchingthelowerrightcorners.

• Markthediagonalandsew.• Trimtheseamasshowntoa¼"seam.• Pressthetriangleouttoformthefinished

corner.

• Quiltyourpillowtopaccordingtoyourdesiredquiltmotif.

• Trimto16½"square.

• FollowingtheDiagrambelow,arrangeyourblocksintorowsandsewtogether.

• Sewyourrowstogether.

Sew rights sides together.

• TakeyourfabricErectanglesandonone16½"sideeachpressunder¼"andthenagainanother½".

• Edgestitchclosetothefold&presstosetstitches.• Now,withrightsidestogetherlineuptheraw16

½"edgesoftherectanglestothesidesofthepillowtop.Thefinishededgesoftherectangleswilloverlap,creatingtheenvelopepillowback.

• Sewaroundtheedgeofthepillowat¼".Finishtheedgeswithanovercaststitchforreinforcement.

• Turnyourpillowinsideout,usingachopsticktohelpyoupopoutthecorners.

• Press.• Voila!Youarereadytostuffwithyourpillowform!
