How does the concert look like the CD cover:Lady Gaga: The singles- Poker Face!

On the CD cover you can clearly see Lady Gaga with no clothes on and a hat, which also covers her face. Just like at the concert Lady Gaga, like her CD cover is dressed with hardly any clothes on, very sexual and also still a hat that again, covers her eyes.

They also link in very well together because although the background and the colours are quite extravagant the set up, accessories and Lady Gaga herself are actually very simple just like the CD cover.

Again, just like the CD cover Lady Gaga has no facial expression, her face is always dull and bland just like on the CD cover.

How does the concert look like the CD cover:Cheryl Cole: Fight for this love-

The Cd cover as you can see is very specific colours, mainly Red, White and Black. On Cheryl’s live performance you can see that she is wearing exactly the same as what she is wearing on the CD cover, which gives off a soldier kind of look.

The background in the live performance is very simple just like on the CD cover, and again, the main colour in the performance like on the CD cover is Red.

Cheryl also gives off a very independent look in her CD cover just like her performance, although she has a big group of backing dancers, it is indicating that she doesn’t need anybody to help her perform showing independence. Her dance moves also indicate the lyrics shown in the song and in the CD cover, as when she sings ‘Fight’ She holds up her fist as though she is fighting.

As you can see the main colour for this specific album is red and a the Album and the song is also called Red you can see the main link. The theme of the concert is extremely affective to the CD cover as the concert design has been well thought about in terms of colours, props, background themes etc..

Another main aspect of the concert design was the Mise-en-scene, the lighting links in perfectly with everything about the album and the album cover, as again, the colour red is a main colour throughout the whole performance which then makes the black stand out too. Taylor and all the backing dancers are wearing dark colours like black and grey which then makes the red lighting, Taylors red lips, microphone and guitar stand out and look very important.
