TIF-LOCK RETAINERSPREVENTS NUTS FROM LOOSENING FREE FROM THE BOLT UNDER VIBRATION• Fast and easy to install• Will not come loose under vibration• Eliminates the need for double

nuts, locking nuts, jam nuts, time consuming safety wire-locks, cotter pins, and messy thread lockers

• No special tools required, works with standard 12-point sockets

• Made from corrosion resistant 304 Stainless Steel for harsh environments

• Only requires three threads beyond the nut to work because it occupies three coils when it is threaded onto a bolt and expands

• Surpasses the testing requirements of NAS3350 (National Aerospace Specification for impact type vibration test)

• No special torque requirements• If there is a gap between the retainer

and the nut, simply tighten until it is flush with the nut

• Can be manually threaded onto existing applications.

• Reusable as long as the Tif-Lock Retainer "returns" to a hex shape after disassembly and retainers are not deformed

Once positioned against the nut, Tif-Lock Retainers engage the bolt along the pitch diameter including spring forces axially and radially. These forces hold Tif-Lock Retainers in place, which prevents bolts and nuts from loosening under vibration.

Simply load Tif-Lock Retainer into a 12-Point socket.

Tighten to application requirements.

Load the standard nut on top of the Tif-Lock Retainer.

If there is a gap between Tif-Lock Retainer and the nut, simply tighten the Tif-Lock Retainer until it is flush with the nut.
