Mr Millar’s windows, to the rear of his home, were a mixture of single glazing and secondary glazing units. His kitchen was nearly always cold so he was happy to ask Weatherseal for a quote to replace, and upgrade, to energy efficient double-glazing.

Last year Mr Montieth got Weatherseal to replace his downstairs windows. After seeing and feeling the benefits of our ECOa windows, he decided to upgrade the upstairs too.

Mrs Bradley wanted to change up the look of her home. After noticing a few of her neighbours having their roofline replaced she decided to give Weatherseal a call.

The rep that came round suggested going for white instead of the brown I had before. I wasn’t sure at first - I didn’t want the upkeep when it started to go grey. Although Mr & Mrs Beattie’s home was built in the last couple of decades, it had been fitted with timber windows. These soon started to rot due to the British climate. After a bit of research they knew they wanted to upgrade their windows to easily maintained uPVC windows.

We take security extremely seriously so each of our doors has:

• Toughened safety glass

• Reinforced security panel

• Internally glazed

We recommend that you carry out routine maintenance on your doors at least twice a year.

When the door is closed all parts that are exposed should be washed down with warm soapy water using a soft cloth. Parts that are only exposed when open should be wiped clean, removing any grime, dirt, insect remains or old lubricant.

To maintain the locking system apply light oil to the moving parts and a little grease should be applied to the locking slots so everything runs smoothly.
