Comments on FD Fan and ID Fan instruments.1. BHEL has not erected the pressure gauges on cooling water lines as per the approved BHEL-PC drawing. BHEL shall provide 2-way gauge cock for instrument isolation.2. Pressure instrument erection shall be as per drawing no. 3-81-412-02178 of BHEL-PC.3. Temperature instrument erection shall be as per drawing no. 3-81-412-02179 of BHEL-PC.4. Hydrotest of all the impulse lines is yet to be started. BHEL to expedite.5. Instruments which are coming with the main equipments shall not be included in the protocol. Skid mounted instruments directly coming from factory shall be as per the manufacturers standard. Bearing temperature measuring gauges and elements of motor shall be deleted from the protocol. All these instruments shall be calibrated at site laboratory.6. Firm fixing of motor bearing temperature shall be carried as there is some damage to instruments due to improper handling. HNC10 CT501 shall be erected with new set of erection accessories due damage to existing erection accessories. HLB10 CT501 has been damaged beyond repair and shall be immediately replaced before BLU.7. Installation of HNC10 CT504 is yet to be completed.8. PGH18 CP501, HNC10 CT504 and PGH22 CP505 are yet to be calibrated.9. BHEL to check and confirm the type temperature gauges mounted on the FD fan and ID fan motors. If the gauges are of electronic type or have switching function, then the associated cabling shall also be completed. 10. FD fan bearing metal temperature elements could not be identified.11. Both the elements of the temperature elements shall be terminated at the junction box.12. Seal welding of thermowells shall be completed.13. BHEL shall confirm that all the fan bearing metal temperature elements indicated in the protocol have been calibrated.14. Identification tags shall be provided for all the temperature elements and motor bearing temperature gauges. Identification tags shall also provided for all the WAAREE make temperature gauges.15. BHEL shall submit the datasheet and hook-up drawings of the instrument erected for bearing metal temperature measurement.16. BHEL shall submit the datasheets of the instrumented erected in the cooling water lines.17. Separate cable trays shall be provided for the temperature capillaries and vibration probe extension cables.18. BHEL at places has bent the cable beyond its minimum permitted bending radius which may damage the cable.19. Cable dressing of the cables is yet to be started.
