Holy Week Wrap Up
Once again the holidays
brought us a great crowd of
participants this year. Easter
Sunday saw the 3rd largestattendance in the churchs
history. The breakfast, egg hunt,
childrens special, trio, and
communion made for a
wonderful celebration of Jesus
resurrection. We hope the new
guests among us felt welcome
and will find their way back to
worship with us again in the
coming weeks.
Although it may not be
evident to all, God has been at
work in a number of lives. There
are some people who, by theirown admission, want to move
closer to God. It is exciting to
be see God bring in these pre-
believers who are heading
toward the Kingdom of God.
We pray that they will soon say
yes to His offer of salvation
and experience the gift of new
life in Jesus.

25 Years as a Church
Although people have comeand gone, there is a strong
core of folks still here whobegan this church a quarter of
a century ago. Especially inthose first years these first
families helped form the core
values that continue todominate our ministry. Theyworshipped, prayed, built,
led, cried, laughed, andplayed together. They lived
life and raised their familiestogether. There was a high
degree of volunteerism aspeople stepped in to assure
that ministries took place that
would benefit both their ownchildren and youth, as well as
others they had adoptedinto the church family.
As a newer member of FCC,dont forget the sacrifice that
others have made on yourbehalf. Lets not have a taker
mentalitytreating their
sacrifice as if it is a handoutwe are owed. Instead, letstake up that relay torch, pour
in our blood/sweat/tears,prayers, dollars, time, energy
and compassion - so thatothers may benefit for the next
