JUANITA HYSON - MEMBER MONDAY, AUGUST 9 A visitation and service will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The viewing will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Juanita was a member of the Agape and Hospitality Ministries and the Senior Choir. She is the mother of Bernard Hyson, Wylene McKnight, Clinton Hyson, and Raymond Hyson. (nonmembers). JOSEPH WRIGHT - MEMBER TUESDAY, AUGUST 10 A viewing and service will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The viewing will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Joseph is the husband of Piccola Wright, father of Wanda Brooks, grandfather of Catina Brooks Watkins and Quiana Brooks-Curry (Kevin), and great grandfather of Morgan Ross and Samantha Curry. Joseph, along with his wife Piccola, was a member of Agape; Wanda is a member of the Fellowship Chorale; Quiana and Kevin are members of the Deaf Ministry (all are members). NIJAH JOHNSON - MEMBER WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11 A viewing and service will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Nijah is the daughter of Priscilla Johnson, sister of Michael Curtis, Amyah Curtis, Aliyah Curtis and Maliah Wilson; granddaughter of Diane Boone and niece of Linda Ferguson. Priscilla is a DDS graduate; Diane is a former FBCG employee, SFYJ and SID graduate and a member of the Hospitality and Safety Ministries; Amyah and Aliyah served with the Junior Usher Ministry; and Michael was active in Gideon’s Army; Linda is a SFYJ, DDS, QE, SID, and the Women’s Focus Studies graduate, she is also a member of the Senior Usher and Health Ministries (all members). ROBERT BRASWELL JR. – MEMBER MONDAY, AUGUST 16 A viewing and service will be held at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home, 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood, MD 20722. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. Robert is the husband of Vanessa Braswell and the father of Ericka Wright (nonmembers). DIONA BABER - MEMBER MONDAY, AUGUST 16 A viewing and service will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden, 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Diona is the great niece of Theresa Blackburn. Diona was active in the Women’s Ministry and Theresa is active in the Agape, Senior Wednesday, Cancer Support and the Hospitality Ministries (member).
