We promote and support the implementation of Recovery Community Organizations throughout Mississippi. We provide technical assistance to new RCOs through training and operational guidance. We advocate on behalf of all RCOs with state agencies and policy makers, to ensure the voice of recovery is represented. We organize statewide events to promote public education and awareness. We engaged with national organizations to bring best practices to the state of Mississippi recovery community.

What is an RCO?An RCO is a Recovery Community Organization that is run by and for those in recovery from addiction. RCOs offer peer supportive services that ease the transition from active addiction to life-long recovery and advocate for public education and the end of the stigma associated with the disease of addiction.What support does FAVOR MS offer to newly developed RCOs?As a part of the Mississippi RCO Collaborative, we offer guidance on best practices, funding opportunities, and organizational structure that will support the success of newly identified organizations.
