attractiveCreate a list of all the
services and that the library media center
offers.Set up a meeting with the administrator to discuss
my role.Create physical/digital

Step Two:establish the timelineA realistic timeline is necessary in order to set goals and monitor progress. This timeline is living but rough, and will change and evolve as necessary to fit the needs of Faux Elementary School.

Step Three:identify, locate, and purchase resourcesTaking an inventory of what resources Faux Elementary already has is an essential step in the action plan to find out what is needed. Some items will obviously have a higher priority than others.
$
money for materials, supplies, and various expensestime to take care of essential library tasks, help the faculty, work with students, and meet with the administratorlarge electronics like computers and t.v.’s
adequate, safe, and comfortable furniture
small electronics like ipads, ipods, and ereaders
a huge budget allotment for BOOKS
Step Four:put together a teamFaux Elementary will need a library that has an equally strong offensive and defense These means identifying the right people to involve and share responsibility with. All members of the team are equal stakeholders in the success of the library media center.

Step Five:determine the destinationThe library media center needs to have a clear course and destination. Simple questions determine whether or not the ship was steered in the desired direction, and collected data is used to get the answers.
were circulation numbers up
was there in increase in student/faculty library usage
did teacher/librarian collaboration take place
is the library media center a comfortable enjoyable space
have vision and mission statements been written
where did the budget numbers fall (above, at, or below)
what aspects of the action plan weren’t achieved (if any)

Step Six:pitch the productVisual campaigns work best when they are deployed in multiple ways. Displays, posters, and pictures can be posted digitally and physically to maximize exposure and increase the chances that the advertisements go viral. The empty wall space of Faux Elementary is prime real estate in the library media center’s agenda. Keep the posters simple, to the point, and hopefully somewhat entertaining.
