THE NAVIGATOR Monthly publication on behalf of the MONSIGNOR GEORGE A. WILHELM ASSEMBLY #1094 June 2017 FaithFul Navigator’s report Worthy Sir Knights, this is my last newsletter as Navigator of our Assembly and I wanted to let you all know how much being apart of this this great group of men has meant to me. I thank you for all your support over the last two years and pray that God keeps his loving spirit in each of you so you may continue to do great things. I ask that you support our new slate of officers coming aboard in July and be as active as you can in our Assembly. Brothers, the month of June brings laughter, joy and excitement and best of all Father’s Day. I have found that being a Knight has a lot in common with the things June is also known for. June is an ebullient month jolting with joy and happiness. It's a cheer- ful month, and Nature is in full-swing. It is a time when our energy integrates to- ward growth, unity and compassion. June recalls and conjures the teacher within. A time where all of us have a lesson to learn from our spiritually, to our work or school or just proving yourself amongst family. The Eagle, a bird that represents power. Associated with the Christ himself the eagle seems to easily ascend the skies, looking into the sun with unblinking focus. We also see themes of renewal (baptism) as the eagle plunges the soul into the sea, and lifts them out renewed and cleansed. The eagle is associated with celebration of feasts, fam- ily and dances during the month of June. Our great country has this bird as our national symbol and it makes perfect sense as to why. As a Knight, especially a 4 th Degree mem- ber, patriotism is a symbol we hold high. Father’s Day, well it is pretty obvious, it is a day to pay homage to the men in our lives who serve as paternal figures. Fatherhood is not about one day out of the year where we hang out with the men who are fathers, but rather it is about a position, a way of being, a job, a lifestyle and a spiritual connection. Like being a Knight it is a choice and way of life that we choose, a life in the footsteps of our father and Lord. So take time to reflect this month as June also signifies the end of the first half of the year. Did we achieve all we wanted to? Spiritually did we allow time to focus and relax through the pressures, or did we react in a negative stressful way? It is our choice to be stressed and we do it to ourselves. Reach this month for what was too high for you be- fore. You have control; hopefully you are aware of it! God Bless Shawn Reichhardt - Faithful Navigator

June 2017

FaithFul Navigator’s report

Worthy Sir Knights, this is my last newsletter as Navigator of our Assembly and I wanted to let you all know how much being apart of this this great group of men has meant to me.

It's a cheer-ful month, and Nature is in full-swing. It is a time when our energy integrates to-ward growth, unity and compassion.

The eagle is associated with celebration of feasts, fam-ily and dances during the month of June. Our great country has this bird as our national symbol and it makes perfect sense as to why. As a Knight, especially a 4th Degree mem-ber, patriotism is a symbol we hold high.

Reach this month for what was too high for you be-fore. You have control; hopefully you are aware of it!
