Fasting Directive according to Matthew 6:16-18 16 “And when you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by men. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by men but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

Prayer Schedule Directions for use: Each day, we will begin our day with prayer. Where there is unity there is strength. Remember, A.S.K. Ask, Seek and Knock, and the door shall be opened! The object of this fast is discipline, unity and victory. Be sure to pray for our nation, leaders, West Orlando Christian Center, The King’s Academy, Pastor Stevenson and your family.

The 21 Day Positive Focus The basic idea is that we succeed in life based upon our confidence level. Regardless of what are talent level is, if we’re not confident about what we’re capable of doing, we won’t perform at the level we could.

FACT: "Better" tennis players have lost to "lesser" players. Why? In many cases because of confidence. In fact, you can often tell who’s going to win, long before they actually win, just by looking at each player’s eyes. It’s all about confidence. If you feel confident you’re going to succeed at something, chances are, you will. However, if you’re not confident, chances are you won’t (even if you could).

So, how can we build our confidence? Dan Sullivan developed a 21 Day Positive Focus routine. For 21 days, write out your responses to these four simple questions The four questions are:

1. What were your five top accomplishments for the day? 2. Why did they matter to you? 3. How can you build on them? 4. What specific steps do you need to take to build on them?

Very simple. But very powerful. In other words, for 21 days, you will choose to reflect not on what went wrong, but what went right in your life. And then how can you take that which went right and make it even better.

Now, while there are all kinds of variations on this theme that you can do, remember that the power of this process is that it really does cause you to focus, at the end of the day, on what went right. And the more we focus on what went right, the more confident we become. And the more confident we become, the greater our ability to succeed at whatever we want to succeed at—whether that is work or play, marriage or parenting, financial management or playing the piano. Everything goes better when we feel confident about our ability to do it.

WE ARE SEATED WITH HIM IN HIGH AUTHORITYIn the first chapter of Ephesians, Paul prayed a prayer for the body of believers in Ephesus. One part of that prayer was that they know the exceeding greatness of his power to those who believe (Eph. 1:19). That exceeding great power is the same power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead and set Him at His own right hand in the heavenlies. Ephesians 1:21 tells us that Jesus is seated far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named.

The work God did in Jesus was supreme. He raised Jesus from the dead and set Him far above all other authority–not only in this world, but also in the heavenly world. Then verse 22 says that God has put ALL things under His feet and made Him head over the church which is His body. Where are the feet? They are in the body. As believers, we are part of His body and we are seated with Him in that highly exalted place of authority. Praise God! Look at Ephesians, chapter two:

“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins…Even when we were dead in sins, (God) hath quickened us together with Christ…And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”(Eph. 2:1,5,6).

We are seated together with Him. Where? Far above all principality and power and might and dominion. As a believer, you have accepted the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary. Therefore, you are a part of His body and are seated with Him in that heavenly place, equipped with the same power, the same authority that He has.

The great power that God worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead is the same creative power of God that worked in you to make you alive when you were dead in your trespasses and sins. The moment you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, that same power was exercised on your dead, unregenerate spirit, causing it to be reborn in the likeness of God Himself. Any man who is in Christ Jesus is a new creation: old things have passed away, all things are new, and all things are of God (2 Cor. 5:17).

The Meditation: “God help me to understand who I am in You, and that as a believer, You gave me authority, I decree and declare that this will be a week of

revealed knowledge and understanding as I walk in AUTHORITY over my environment, my finances, my family and Satan!”

Day Two – Tuesday, January 19, 2016We have AUTHORITY over our FINANCES

Zechariah 4:6-7Zerubbabel has struggled to build the temple amid all many and means of problems.

An angel comes with encouragement and wisdom:

This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:“Not by might nor by power but by My Spirit” says the Lord of Hosts.

Who are you great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”

Basically, the message to Zerubbabel and to us is that some problems are beyond our ability to fix, no matter how powerful or talented we may be. Where our power fails,

the task is completed by the Spirit of the Lord. He gets credit. We do not! (Jeanie Rose)

So here is the prayer in all its simplicity:Lord, this day I take authority over the thief regarding (the situation) (John 10:10)

And, I shout “Grace, grace!” to this mountain. (Zechariah 4:6-7)

How to pray it:• Pray it throughout the day, taking authority over the thief for this day.

• Anytime during the day when the situation comes to mind, pray the prayer again.• Pray this instead of fretting.

Part of the power of this prayer:• Recognizing and confessing that the problem is too big for you, but manageable by God is a big step. You roll the burden of the problem onto the Burden Bearer, just as

Jesus instructed. (Matthew 11:30)

• As you repeat the prayer instead of allowing fear to grip you, your mind is renewed. You begin to think like God regarding the situation. This increases faith tremendously

and when you have faith the size of a mustard seed, “you will say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for

you.” (Matthew 17:20)

The Meditation: “God help me to understand that some situations in my life are much larger than myself. When I am confronted with challenges, expecially in my finances, help me to keep a level head and to not make EMOTIONAL decision. I DECREE and DECLARE that my money WILL WORK FOR ME! Where I need

money, MONEY COMES NOW!”

Other small boats were also with him. 37A big wind storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so much that the boat was already filled. 38He himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion, and they woke him up, and told him, "Teacher, don't you care that we are dying?" 39He awoke, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace! Be still!" The wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40He said to them, "Why are you so afraid? How is it that you have no faith?" 41They were greatly afraid, and said

to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?"

As new creations we have been put in a position of power and authority– a position delegated to us by God through Jesus Christ. Along with that authority come certain responsibilities.

When you made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, Colossians 1:13 says you were delivered from the power of darkness. The word power is literally translated authority. You have been delivered from the power, or authority, of darkness and placed into God’s kingdom. Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore…” (Matt. 28:18,19). That power was given to you as part of your inheritance in Christ Jesus. You have entered into this position of authority because you are in Him.

The Word says that righteousness has come upon all men (Rom. 5:18). You may ask, “Then why don’t all become righteous?” Because in order to receive it, you have to act on righteousness from the point of authority. (Dr. Kenneth Copeland)

The MeditationGod help me to understand the authority that You have given me. I now,

declare and decree that my environment will line up with your will for my life, and that nothing will hinder me from seeing Your goodness in my life!

Day Four– Thursday, January 21, 2016We have AUTHORITY over our FAMILY

Romans 9:37-3937 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other

creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

As a believer, you have access to the “badge” of authority in the use of the name of Jesus! Jesus has given us the unqualified use of His name in His absence. His NAME represents His person, His position, His seating, and His authority! “If you ask (demand) anything in my name, I will do it” (John 14:14). Jesus’ name will accomplish everything that He can without Him personally being present!

Every time you or your family are attacked with sickness, disease, or physical weakness of any kind, rise up in the NAME OF JESUS and command Satan to take his hands off of you or your family member! You have been given AUTHORITY that is far greater than your natural strength.

To do nothing about it, or to whine and complain about how bad things are will only give Satan control over you! That would be like the police officer laying down in the street crying because a vehicle refused to obey his instructions! He has to enforce the law and sometimes that means forcing people to submit! Satan is the same way. If you lie down and do nothing when attacked, He will dominate you.

When confronted with financial lack, oppression, depression, fear, weakness, failure, or anything else that steals, kills, and destroys, RISE UP IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND COMMAND SATAN’S POWER TO BE BROKEN OVER YOUR LIFE AND FAMILY! No one has more authority in your life and family than you do!

Don’t wait until a crisis arises. ASSERT YOUR RIGHTS AND PRIVILEDGES IN CHRIST JESUS AGAINST SATAN TODAY AND SEND HIM ON THE RUN, BEFORE HE TRIES TO HINDER YOUR LIFE OR YOUR FAMILY!

The Meditation:“Today and every day, I DECREE and DECLARE that I will personally “take

charge” of my life spiritually by submitting myself afresh to Jesus’ Lordship over me, and command Satan and his forces to BACK OFF and leave my family and

church alone in the NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!”

The Full Armor of God – Ephesians 6:10-1310Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the

rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and

having done all, to stand.

WE HAVE AUTHORITY TO STAND AGAINST SATANOne of the most vital areas of the believer’s authority is his power to successfully stand

against Satan. Ephesians 4:27 says, Neither give place to the devil. In the sixth chapter of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul describes the armor that we as believers are to wear in combat

against Satan. He explains each piece of that armor. It is the armor of God. But not once does he say that God will put the armor on you or that God will fight the devil for you. YOU is the

understood subject of these verses. He says, “YOU be strong in the Lord. YOU put on the whole armor of God that YOU will be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. YOU take the whole armor of God that YOU may be able to withstand in the evil day; and having done

all, YOU stand.”

God has given you the power and the authority to stand against Satan and his destructive works. He has provided the armor, but it is your responsibility as a believer to put on that

armor and stand against the devil. James 4:7 says, YOU resist the devil, and he will flee from YOU. The armor and the weapons are at your disposal. God is there with you to back His

Word; but all is worthless unless you take your position of authority and assume the responsibility to use what He has provided. You have the power and the authority to take the Word of God, the name of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit and run Satan out of your

affairs.

Don’t pray and ask God to fight Satan for you. You are the one in authority. Take your responsibility and speak directly to Satan yourself and stand your ground firmly. He will

The Daniel’s Fast

How many folks do you know who say they don't want to drink anything before going to bed because they'll have to get up during the night.

If you ask your doctor he will tell you why people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from a Cardiac Doctor - Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!

Mayo Clinic Aspirin Dr. Virend Somers, is a Cardiologist from the Mayo Clinic, who is lead author of the report in the July 29, 2008 issue of the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Most heart attacks occur in the day, generally between 6 A.M. and noon. Having one during the night, when the heart should be most at rest, means that something unusual happened. Somers and his colleagues have been working for a decade to show that sleep apnea is to blame.

1. If you take an aspirin or a baby aspirin once a day, take it at night.The reason: Aspirin has a 24-hour "half-life"; therefore, if most heart attacks happen in the wee hours of the morning, the Aspirin would be strongest in your system.

2. FYI, Aspirin lasts a really long time in your medicine chest, for years, (when it gets old, it smells like vinegar). (Bayer is making crystal aspirin to dissolve instantly on the tongue.) They work much faster than the tablets.

Why keep Aspirin by your bedside? It's about Heart Attacks.There are other symptoms of a heart attack, besides the pain on the left arm. One must also be aware of an intense pain on the chin, as well as nausea and lots of sweating; however, these symptoms may also occur less frequently.

Note: There may be NO pain in the chest during a heart attack.

The majority of people (about 60%) who had a heart attack during their sleep did not wake up. However, if it occurs, the chest pain may wake you up from your deep sleep.
