FL UAE has signed an exclusive BSA contract with

Ethiopian Airlines for weekly flights to

N’djamena,Tchad Republic.

A tri party agreement was signed between FL UAE

- Ethiopian Airlines and Tchad Cargo ( JV partner

in T’chad) for flights operating over a period of 5

years.

Ethiopian Airlines will be operating their B777

aircrafts from Sharjah on a weekly twice schedule

to connect our loads.

FL UAE had an Iftar gathering which was held at

Asateer tent, Atlantis Hotel on 16th June 2016.

The event was held under the patronage of our

CEO Mr. Peter Scholten and was attended by

Group Chairman Mr. Al Ameen and key invitees

from Air and Ocean Industry. Industry veterans

like Country Managers from Saudi Airlines, Emir-

ates, Etihad,Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airlines, Air

France and Ethiopian Airlines also attended the

event. Ocean Freight industry was represented

by key personnels from CMA CGM, MAERSK,PIL

and HANJIN.

The event was well attended and was a good

platform where we successfully showcased FL as

a key player in the UAE market.

on 1st June 2016, with a cake cutting cere-

mony presided by Mr. Shazul Mohammed -

VP (Asia) in the presence of the Delhi team.

front – people who thought a ‘swimming pool’ is to

get into and shake your limbs actually started to feel

like Michael Phelps and Nisha Millet – people who

ran away to shelter when rain started wore the shoes

of Michael Jackson and Prabhu deva in the rain

dance - People who could hardly get through their

school question papers, answered the tough quiz

from our HR like a Google website (hope no one was

using their 4G connections) – not to forget the

hungry stomachs who ramped down all that was

available on the buffet table into their digestive

system (not sure how much of it got digested).

Cannot not wipe away all these memories from our

mind but as a proof most of us have captured these

moments in our cameras (time to share it folks).

The icing on the cake was th e team spirit displayed – people who knew each other from just few hours/-

days acted like ‘Jai’ and ‘Veeru’….

As a closing note would like to thank each one of those who have worked hard behind the scenes to make

this excursion a great success and looking forward to many more such team building activities involving

fun and frolic ( Management, please make a note of this last statement ) …

We operated an B727F charter flight from Juba to

Malakal for the UN WFP, carrying 20t of relief aid to

one of the refugee camps in South Sudan using

one of Safe Air Company’s aircraft (the airline we

represent as GSA). The flight went perfectly, oper-

ating over 24 hours early and the customer was

very happy. Below is a picture of the aircraft we

used for this flight.

Show or hide columns and rows

You can hide a row or column by using the Hide command, or by changing the row height or column width

to 0 (zero). You can display either again by using the Unhide command. You can unhide specific rows and

columns, or you can unhide all hidden rows and columns at the same time. If you hide the first row or

column in a worksheet, you follow a different process, and you'll find that in the last section of the article.

AutoSUM ( Σ )

[ Shortcut Key : Alt + +] This function enables you to get the SUM of all cells on the left or above of the

selected cell.

Hide Data

You can hide data in a particular cell or column using the below method. Format cells > Number tab >

custom > type “ ;;; ” in the Type field

Combine Text

Using “&” you can combine text in multiple cells, eg: D1 = A1&B1&C1

Functions:

• SUM : It helps you to add 2 or more numbers together

Formula: =SUM(5, 5) or =SUM(A1, B1) or =SUM(A1:B5)

• COUNT : The count formula counts the number of cells in a range that have numbers in them.

Formula: =COUNT(A1:A10)

• COUNTA : Counts the number of non-empty cells in a range. It will count cells that have numbers

and/or any other characters in them.

Formula: =COUNTA(A1:A10)

• NOW : Returns the serial number of the current date and time

Formula : =NOW()

• MAX : Returns the maximum value in a list of arguments

Formula : MAX(A2:A6)

• AVERAGE : Returns the average (arithmetic mean) of the arguments

Formula : AVERAGE( B1:B3 )

• IF : IF function can be used to test for or evaluate certain conditions, and then react differently

depending on whether the test was TRUE or FALSE

Formula : IF (logical_test, [value_if_true], [value_if_false])

• VLOOKUP : This function will look for a piece of information in a large table of data and pull in any

field from that table into your new table

Formula : =VLOOKUP(lookup_value, table_array, col_index_num, range_lookup)
