he Month of March is here at last. It’s time once again. The

official kick off of the twenty twelve riding season Daytona

beach bike week.

As I type this letter I look out the window and see the first real

snow since October. Who would have thought after that heavy early

October snow storm, that we would have had such a snow free and

mild Winter this year. Now, we just have to hope for an early and

dry Spring. We would also like to congratulate one of staff writers

Johnny Lange and his new wife Dawn of Strip Club Choppers who

just got married on Valentines day. We wish them all the luck and

happiness in the world.

Till next time... ride safe,

HOG RIDIN FOOLS M/C CLAM BAKE

Story Ridin’ and Pics by Lutz July 2011 • South Jersey

E veryone that rides knows that hittin’ the events usually means you run into the typical fare of chow, dogs, burgers, etc. But bikers being bikers (and our fine taste for Cuisine) every once in a while you’ll find a party that has that something extra, such as in this case an extra couple 1000 clams (and i dont mean money!) and thats exactly how the Hog ridin’ fools m/c do it! These bunch of brothers pull out all the stops and by all attending it’s very easy to see that their clam bake run is very popular. Being mid July and great ridin weather, yeah it was f@ckin hot as a steamed cla... (well you know what i mean). Still , this event brought out many great people and great times. Clams, chicken, corn, burgers, dogs and even more clams!! and dont forget the adult refreshments on a hot July day. Vendors, lots of way cool bikes to eyeball (as well as the ladies!) and music, made the feel just right at this party. So give it up to all the brothers with the Hog ridin fools m/c for another sucessful event! .. . .hell I’m goin back for another dozen.... . . . .!

PIG ROAST/POKER RUN TO BENEFIT ST. JUDES FOR CHILDREN

Story Ridin’ and Pics by Lutz July 17th, 2011 • Browns Mills NJ

A nother beautiful July day and not a cloud in the sky! Time to round up some friends and go for a ride! This time around we are heading off to put some miles on with a poker run/pig roast with the proceeds going to the organization of St. Judes for Children. Now, if i haven’t said it enough we as bikers all have a soft spot for benefits ecspecially when it helps children, plus doing that on your motorcycle..twice as nice!! A nice long ride through the south Jersey pines and several different stops along the way to favorite water-ing holes like Jamisons, Chesterfield Inn, Plumsted Grill and ending up on the grounds of the Hornets Nest. This event was put together by local bikers, Irma and her crew put lots of work into this event, which being their first event turned out well as it was a big hit with all those attending. Great bbq, corn bread, burgers, dogs and fresh corn on the cob was piled high on everyones plates...(good stuff!) There was a variety of vendors , chinese auction and live music by the band “Random Generation” kept all busy and entertained. You could wander over to the bike show or get your ride washed up by some bikini clad beauties! Before you knew it the raffle was getting drawn and trophies handed out, “time flies when your having fun”!

I just recently met with a new client who was seriously injured as a result of another distracted driver pulling from a stop sign directly into his path of travel. As is typical of my clients, this individual was approximately 60 years of age, has been riding motorcycles for most of his life and had never been involved in an accident until this fateful day. As badly injured as he was, hopefully after rehabilitation, he will regain all or much of the use of his leg. My point here is; when I was first referred this case, based upon the description of the accident and the injuries, I knew that I would be able to help. However, one of the first concerns I had was; is there going to be adequate insurance coverage to compensate him for all he is going through, and will go through in the future. Fortunately, in this situation the answer was yes, not because the responsible person had a lot of insurance, (although he did have more than the $15,000.00 in liability limits as required in Pennsylvania), but because my client purchased $100,000.00 in underinsured motorist coverage and the stacking option which allows him to stack the underinsured coverages from his other vehicles onto his motorcycle coverage. When speaking with him, he was aware that he had purchased these options because he knew, how important it was to have adequate uninsured and underinsured coverage in case he ever found himself in this situation. When I visited him and his wife at their home, although they knew they had good insurance, they didn’t fully understand the extent of their coverage until I explained the details. Although it may not make his bones heal any faster,

he realized that the premiums he has paid over the years would now ensure that he would be able to financially take care of himself and his family. With the season rapidly approaching, this is the perfect time for everyone to pull out their auto and motorcycle polices and make sure that you have adequate limits of liability and most importantly uninsured and underinsured coverage on your vehicles. If when comparing your auto policy to your

motorcycle policy you notice that you have less coverage on your motorcycle, this is a situation that must be remedied now before spring comes, and you hit the open roads again. Contrary to what many people believe, doubling or even tripling your motorcycle insurance will most likely add between only $50-$150 a year, depending on where you live. But this increase in premium will be well

worth the cost if you are ever in need of the coverage. Lastly, I am proud to announce that from this point forward, anytime a prior client or fellow biker refers a new client to my office, the Law Offices of Lee D. Gaber will make a donation to a charity of their choice. I’ve been thinking about this idea for a few years and rather than designate one specific charity of my choosing, I think it would be more appropriate that when a case settles, I make a contribution to a charity that is close to your heart to insure that some good comes out of a bad situation.

CORNED BEEF AND CABBAGE IIBY: originalsyn, NY.

Ingredients1 (5 1/2 pound) corned beef brisket2 tablespoons pickling spice1 large orange, sliced in rounds2 stalks celery, sliced1 large onion, sliced1/2 cup cold water6 tablespoons margarine, divided1 large head cabbage, cored and sliced1 cup Golden Delicious apples, cored and quartered with peel1/4 cup cold waterDirections: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line a 9x13 inch roasting pan with aluminum foil, leaving enough extra extending over the sides to cover and seal in the roast. Rinse the brisket, and pat dry. Rub with pickling spice, and place in the prepared roasting pan. Arrange celery, orange and onion slices on and around the roast. Pour in 1/2 cup of water, and wrap aluminum foil up over the roast tightly, making sure the ends are sealed. Bake for about 4 hours in the preheated oven, or until meat is tender. About 45 minutes before the roasts time is up, heat 3 tablespoons of margarine and 1/4 cup of water in a large pot. Add cabbage and apples, cover, and simmer over low heat for about 30 minutes. Occasionally shake the pot so that nothing sticks to the bottom. Serve with remaining margarine and sliced corned beef.

We Are Laurence P Scerri

We are that hellion kid on a tricycle Forging a bond within the wind The graybeard veteran that came back home Who never quite fit in

We are the rogues and rebels, sinners and saints Worst nightmares and dreams come true The jealousy and envy you feel each day The freedom not afforded you

We are that loner packing a bedroll Whose destiny is to ever roam Each state representing one more room In his American home

We are the group along the roadside Whom you revere and revile The weekend escape from your nine to five When you’re clad in Biker Style

We are that long ribbon of tinsel As far as the eye can see Clogging the arteries of your city To lay a gift neath a hospital tree

We are genuine American Bikers Never resigned to be out of sight Know that we shall never back down Nor fade quietly into the night

Drama's behind Rod Hatter

My soul took a loss, around that last bend... Yet I'll keep on ridin'...until my mind's end. Keep scribin' ink, telling my tales... The true remedy... for why my soul ails... Leave all the dramas...in my rear view. Look straight ahead...share something new. Through fellowship, should never lose... Nobody ever should suffer the blues. Rekindle lessons from the old school... Positive energy...now my life's fuel. As that fuel burns, layin' down lines... Poetry, stories, all wrote so fine. Knowing those lines...they say what's real. Telling the whole world just how I feel...

Down And Out Eddie Sorez

As you pass me by Upon your ride I'll extend my hand Down and out Acknowledging Does not matter What you ride Can get killed just as quick On a Jap, a Hog, a Brit We share a common bond The wind and the road A breed apart we are Not trapped in a cage We share the same wind The same road Two wheels or three Doesn't matter to me If you pass me by Upon your ride Extend your hand As I do mine

The Biker's Muse MarySusan Williams-Migneault

She is the colors that he wears ... The very patch that binds his heart To his soul and to hers.

She is the tattoo that stretches His life across his skin A balm that heals his wounds.

She is the wind that blows Across the surface of his life Cooling the heat of many sins.

He searches the horizon For the vision of her face Even though he feels her

Sitting against his back.

She bears his restless spirit Feels it beat against her skin She bears his restless spirit

As he leans into her curves

She bears his restless spirit Balancing him in her wind He listens for her whisper

Their mission is to ride and write together with a positive creative spirit, and through mutual support, with respect and loyalty towards each other, and the literary and/or artistic community at large, bringing the reader, the audience and the writer/artist together on a ride towards a new horizon on the literary landscape. While the Road Scribes of America are not exclusive to any one genre, or any medium of artistic expression, their devotion to Biker Poetry remains. Their purpose as a fellowship is to promote publication and support the writer/artist in what is often a solitary experience on the literary landscape. Twelve sparkling two-tone Hardy Candy Flake Core Series ($2,299.95 to $4,399.95) paint sets join the 2012 Color Shop offering from Harley-Davidson® Genuine Motor Accessories®. Metal flake, an iconic design element of the ‘70s, is back in this new premium custom finish. Hardy Candy Flake is created in a multi-step process that begins by laying several passes of silver microflake over a silver base, which is then topped with clear coat. The scallop pattern is hand-laid and masked, and color is next applied in a candy coat that allows the flake to show through. The design is then clear coated, hand striped, and clear coated again to give it the final smooth, deep finish. The Core Series Hardy Candy Flake paint sets are available in Red Flake, Green Flake, Pink Flake, Lime Gold Flake, Orange Flake and Black Flake with a Silver

Flake accent, and in Red Flake, Green Flake, Pink Flake, Lime Gold Flake, Orange Flake and Silver Flake with a Black Flake accent.
