Fashion editors must also stay connected with social media, which includes blogging.

Previous experience working as a fashion editor/reporterFluent, versatile writing skills – the ability to write sophisticated, funny, smart, opinionated, voice-driven stories

Strong writing, communication and collaboration skills

Strong editing skills

An eye for fashion + fashion trends

Strong interpersonal skills

Be able to conduct insightful and entertaining interviews
