Fashion and sub-cultures

Fashion• Clothing Fashion is a constantly varying equation when it comes to music as it

depend s on who you listen to. Pop tends have a younger crowd and usually involves strong colours. R and B has more of a teenage fan base and focuses on large fashion items such as jewellery, clothes lines and make up lines. Bands tend usually sell merchandise and sometimes where leather jackets, skinny jeans and multi coloured.

• Bands tend to each have their own styles weather its with wacky hair cuts or wear scary looking masks, Slipknot, or dressed in black leather and makeup Black veil brides. I'm aiming for more of a main stream band such as bowling for soup who are 3 middle aged men , with very large beer belly's and a great attitude for life.

Sub-cultures• Artists that come from certain sub-cultures will attract fans from that area for

instants people who come from largely rough communities, or as kids call them chavs or areas of chaos will listen to what can be named as gangster music or rap, R&B. That’s not to say that only people in rough areas will listen to that music.

• People who will listen to rock, hard rock and screamo, other wise known as emos and Goths listen to this music because they believe the songs mean something or the band means something.

• Different Areas of Britain will listen to completely different music such as Many people from the north of England, especially middle aged people as they will listen to ,what we would call the classics, but is classic rock and pop. People from down south will listen to more updated music such as pop because thousands of young people are moving down south because of the capital London.
