How do CFR’s mediation services benefit my organization? Mediation services are fundamentally different than legal services. Although giving your employees access to legal services is important, providing access to CFR Mediation Services can go even further into helping your employees to resolve specific disputes without incurring the additional stress and cost of litigation. How do CFR mediation services work with existing benefits? CFR Mediation Services are a natural enhancement to your existing benefits. Often the need for mediation is determined once an employee accesses other EAP services. In addition, CFR Mediation Coordinators will refer back to existing benefit programs as appropriate. How do individuals access their CFR benefits? CFR services can be accessed directly through our intake hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. One of our CFR Mediation Coordinators will begin working immediately to assist in the resolution of the case and arrange the first appointment with a CFR Certified Mediator. Frequently Asked Questions How do CFR Mediators maintain neutrality? CFR Mediation Coordinators handle the administrative aspects of each case. CFR Mediators have no contact with any party prior to the initial mediation session. CFR Certified Mediators do not collect fees, nor are they apprised of the pay arrangements or benefit eligibility. How does CFR promote their services to covered members? CFR works with each client organization to promote the Employee Mediation Benefit. Promotional activities may include paycheck notices, posted flyers, emails, newsletters, participation in benefit fairs, inclusion in organizational newsletters, and educational programs.
