Download and Installation

The app will automatically start downloading on your device.

DOWNLOADING THE APP FROM YOUR DEVICE

Using your device, scan the QR code or Click here to

access the FAO CONFERENCE 42 App Webpage.

On your device (Android or iOS), click on the appropriate

download link.

When prompted click on “Install”.

Once downloaded, as this app is available outside the App Store and Google Play Store…

iOS devices must grant additional permissions to access the app. Please see next page.

Android devices may be prompted with the following message: “Blocked by Play Protect”. When prompted

select “Install Anyway”.

You can now access the FAO Conference 42 app from the

main screen of the iOS device.

When prompted select “Trust”.

GRANTING PERMISSIONS ON IOS DEVICES

After downloading, open “Settings” on your device.

Select “General”, thenselect “Device Management”.

Select “F.A.O. FOOD AND AGRICULTURE

ORGANIZATION”.

Select “Trust F.A.O. FOOD AND AGRICULTURE ORGANIZATION”.

No need to log in! Select the “X” in the corner.

SETTING UP THE APP

Open the app. Bluetooth is not needed for the use of the app. Select

“Don’t Allow”.

Select your language of choice and select the

download button.

Select “Download”.

Select “Allow” to receive meeting updates in real-

time directly on your device.

Notifications are stored in the Notifications section of the app. To

access them, click on the Menu button in top left-hand corner as

shown in these images.
