How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs (Naturally)

description

This slide is about how to get rid of bed bugs naturally. Parents have been saying it for decades. Bed bugs have been doing it for centuries. "Good night, sleep tight, don’t let the..." we all know how the rest goes! A toxic insecticide heavily used in the mid 1900’s nearly extinguished them. Since then, a lack of awareness and control has allowed these parasites to infect homes in record numbers. It is time to fight back! We just need to educate our communities around the globe on how to reclaim their houses. There are very effective ways to get rid of bed bugs naturally. All we need to do is spread the word. Let's begin with discussing the health risks of a bed bug bite. As far as scientists can tell, contracting diseases from these insects is not a concern. The health risks are more along the lines of skin irritation, loss of sleep and a lot of stress. Knowing natural ways to get rid of bed bugs is very important because we are treating areas that we will be in contact with every day. As I mentioned before, DDT was used in the mid 1900's. It was later found that the adverse health effects of this chemical were terrible. Do we want to expose ourselves to that? So what is the best treatment plan for killing bed bugs? A smart and diversified treatment plan is how we will get rid of bed bugs naturally. We will use removal techniques that pose the least amount of danger to ourselves and our environment. Inside these slides, you'll learn all of the areas that you should check when inspecting for an infestation. A few simple tools like a UV light an scraper will make life much easier. Here is a brief summary of a natural treatment plan. Remove all sheets, blankets, pillow cases and other fabrics off of the bed. Wash and dry everything on high heat. Heat is the most efficient way to get rid of bed bugs naturally. I like to use temperatures around 150 degrees. Next, vacuum every area listed in the slides. This is great for sanitation and the beginning stages of our pest control plan. Next, use the purest form of isopropyl alcohol that you can find. I recommend using at least 91%. Put it into a spray bottle and squirt every bed bug, egg, and blood stain that you see. The final steps involve how to get rid of bed bugs naturally. I always recommend using a steamer if you have access to one. They are wonderful multi-purpose tools to have around the house. Another great solution is to use diatomaceous earth. It is safe, effective and inexpensive. For bed bug prevention, we want to continue to monitor our treatments and keep the areas clean and clutter free. There are two products in the slide that will help with part of the treatment plan. Just remember to keep fighting and never give up. Having bed bugs in your home can be a very stressful time. If you don't think you can control the problem yourself, then don't hesitate to call in an insect control specialist. Thanks for viewing my slide on how to get rid of bed bugs naturally!
