Today we have some fantastic Andamooka material. You don't know how proud I am to offer it to you. Perhaps the best value is the 1oz tumbled and polished chips for only $175. Although many of you would argue that the tumbled opal 4.05oz for only $405 is the best value because they are large stones, you only have to cut 4 or 5 to get your money back and rest is your profit. There is a huge blue green stone that could be cut into two pendants by a wise and canny cutter. There is a piece of Andamooka natural Matrix super gem for only $195 this could be cut into at least 6 triangular matching pieces but then you would lose the beautiful face of the stone that is absolutely brilliant with reds purples golds and blues, it measures approximately 25mm x 17mm and is just a most magnificent face that you can see in any opal, let alone natural matrix opal for only $195 or only $5.86/ct. That's a ridiculous price and will be I would say the first thing to sell. Fot those of you who like a bargain but don't want to cut your own stones, there are 4 magnificent gem crystal opals, 3 of them a perfect match that would go into small rings or even earrings, there is a great little rectangular stone with golds greens and blue measuring approximately 6mm x 7mm that would make a magnificent ring for a young person or you could incorporate them all into one lovely ring. These stones at only $40 each are unrepeatable in value. For those of you who like squid there are a couple of beautiful pieces here. The $385 you can see the colours for yourself already and up one end you can see the indentation that authenticates that it is in fact an opalised squid (belemnite). I love this piece. The other belemnite is even more brilliant in crystal greens, some reds however you'll have to polish that one yourself and as you take the skin off you are going to be very very pleasantly surprised. It's a beauty 33mm long and 11mm in diameter $425 it is only $17.27/ct which is outstanding. We have a Painted Lady for only $125. Heather, my most able assistant, claims it resembles Niagara Falls, now I haven't been there but I have learnt not to argue with her. For the professional cutter and for those of you who want to secure a stone of a lifetime, you can't go past the Lambina for $1,907 it's huge, it's 10mm thick, you can cut it on the side and make earrings, a ring and a pendant or if you want a massive pendant just fact it off. If you don't want people stopping your wife in the street to look at her stone don't buy this one. If you like Painted Ladies and you are good at wire wrapping, there are 6 here for only $300 which average $50 each. Again you'll never match that price even if you are on the field wearing a bikini and slinking up to some of the young miners. If you want a nice pendant, nice and thick, beautiful shape and you have a dremel the $88.20 stone is for you. It shows some beautiful relief but if you don't have a dremel grind it down like 99% of opal cutters do. I am not going to talk about the 46 pieces that will make beautiful pendants if you fit them with bell caps for only $160.
