Good News Community Church has been given a
strong dream & passion to see those who don’t
have a relationship with Jesus find one through
loving God, loving others, and serving the world.

and with Jesus. They’re the place where you make friends,
grow closer to God and dig deeper into the Bible.

what is the one thing god desires that only you can give?

WHY IS WORSHIP SO IMPORTANT?
1) there is a _____________ for your worship.
Our spiritual enemy says,
"I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit
enthroned on the mount of assembly…I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High." Isaiah 14:13-14
God says,
You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself
idols…You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your
God, am a jealous God. Exodus 20:3-5

3. The book of Psalms is a collection of poems
and songs written by people who were fanatical
about God. Read Psalm 145, written by a fanatic
named David.
4. According to these verses, why does God de-
serve to be worshiped? (see if you can come up
with at least 20 reasons)
5. Check out verse 10 –who should worship
God?
6. What practical advice is offered about how to
worship God?
7. How does this poem encourage you to im-
prove your worship of God?

to add some creativity and enthusiasm into your

what’s happening for kids? Tide Pool: The Nursery is a safe and caring place available
every Sunday for your little ones up to 36 months old.
The Reef: For kids 3 years old through Kindergarten
every Sunday. It’s engaging, energetic and fun!
The Deep Sea: For kids 1st through 3rd grade every
Sunday. It’s high energy, hands on and awesome!
Pier: For 4th & 5th graders. They grapple with faith & life issues every Sunday. Students start their class in the worship center with their parents. After an announced
coffee break the students meet in their classroom.

Outlet WN: For middle school students on Wednesday
nights, 7-8:30 PM, at Good News Church.
Outlet SM: For middle school students at 9:30 &11:00 on Sunday mornings. Students start their class in the worship center with their parents. After an announced
