Nearly full term with she and Modigliani’s 2nd baby, Jeanne Heberturne (Modigliani’s lover) committed suicide by jumping out of a window. She did this after he died. She was 21. Their daughter was now an orphan. Modigliani died from meningitis, exacerbated by poverty, alcoholism, and drugs.
