Cut out the Fabric

Draw the patterns directly onto the wrong side of the single layer of fabric. Cut out the exterior front and

back pieces after patchworking the exterior piece.

FRONT

(7) 16" width x 2” height strips for Front Piece(Toddler Pillow) OR (7) 17 1/2" width x 2 1/2” height strips for Front Piece(Kid's

Pillow) OR

(1) Front piece(Adult Piece)

BACK

(1) Back Piece OTHER

(1) 14" length ribbon Piece

Patchwork the Front Piece and Attach the ribbon

Picture 1

Pin and sew one strip to

another along their long seams with right sides together. Backstitch on both

ends. Assemble 7 of the strip in this manner to make the

front, see Picture 1. (1/4" seam allowance) Press the seam downwards. topstitch 1/8"

away from the seams.

Place the "Front and Back"

Pattern and trace. Cut out the exterior front piece, see Picture

2.

Fold the ribbon in half. Baste

the raw edge of the ribbon to the front piece as indicated on the pattern, see Picture 3.

Sew the Front and Back

Open

Place the back piece onto the front piece with right sides

together. The strap should be sandwiched between the two pieces. Pin and stitch the two

together. Backstitch on both ends and leaving a gap for

turning, see Picture 4. Backstitch several times over the straps.

Trim the seam, see Picture 5.

Close the opening

Turn the neck pillow right side

out through the opening. Press

the pillow. Fill the fiberfill into the

pillow, see Picture 6.
