FINRA Foundation Applications Available Now!
The FINRA Foundation Military Spouse Fellowship program allows military spouses to earn financial credentials
while providing financial counseling to the military community.
The fellowship covers the costs associated with completing the Accredited Financial Counselor training and
the first two attempts at both exams.
Many employers such as credit unions, financial aid offices and community housing agencies need well-trained,
ethical and caring financial counselors to meet the increasing demand for financial counseling services.
Military spouses can fill this need while building a rewarding career that is flexible to the demands
of the military family lifestyle.
The foundation is presently accepting applications until the April 15 deadline.
Applications and further information can be found at www.MilitaryFamily.org.

CYSS Has Gone Tech-Savvy!What is tech-savvy you ask?
Generally, it means to know a lot about technology or indicates proficiency in the use of technology. Casey Batchelor, CYS Services Technology Specialist, is dedicated to keeping CYSS updated
with the constantly changing world of technology.
He admits it is a work in progress, but his co-workers are astounded by the programs he has introduced in the past few months that he has worked at Humphreys. His programs offer our kids a chance to explore the world of technology
and prepare them for their future in this digitally influenced age.
These days, kids are introduced to computers as early as age 4 and often challenge or surpass their parents knowledge. The world is changing at an an extremly rapid pace and having the opportunity to be involved in programs that expose children
to science, engineering, math, computers and problem solving is vital to their survival.
In March, CYSS introduced improvements to their hourly care enrollment, and parents can now call 48 hours in advance to make a reservation.
If you are interested in enrolling your child in one of the programs below call CYSS at 753-8507 and give them a head start in this technology saturated world.

Army Family Covenant: Keeping the Promise
PICTURE HERE
LT COL Michael & Kathy Harlan“Army Families are a special breed.
They are close-knit, flexible and resilient. They understand that home is defined by the bonds of the Family,
neighbors and the community. The Army Family Covenant means that our home is already waiting for us when we move to our next duty
station. The heavy stresses of being an Army Family and moving often are lessened by the knowledge that when we get to our new duty station,
we will be moving into a community environment which is familiar.Standardization creates a sense of familiarity and decreases our Family’s
anxiety, allowing us to become contributing members within our new community almost immediately.”
