With Sympathy… Krissy Russell’s mother, Carala Lutz, passed away on Sunday in Lenoir, NC A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday in Lenoir, NC.

Gloria Woodall’s brother, Bud Hen-derson, passed away on Sunday in Oak Ridge. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clinton Church of God.

David Wright, Ed and Wendy Smith’s friend, passed away last Wednesday night. Please pray for daughter Abbey and son Aaron and Aaron’s wife, Kate-lyn. David’s wife, and the mother of Aaron and Abbey, died in 2013.

Tuesday Morning Ladies Class

I’m looking forward to seeing you and studying Ecclesiastes together this fall. I have attached a reading schedule for our 40 DAYS of PRAYER before class begins on Tues., Sep-tember 5, and I hope you will join me. I would also like to encourage you to pray for the following things:

• First, please pray for wisdom, confidence, guidance and strength from Him as we study Ecclesiastes together this fall.

• Second, pray for each of us to be dedicated to this endeavor and put time in each week to be pre-pared every Tuesday morning.

• Third, pray for us to reach out of our comfort zones and invite somebody to come with us this year.

As you read these scriptures at least once every 10 days, (hopefully more) please take the opportunity to read them in different versions of the Bible. I know our book is based on the NIV version, but it’s very inter-esting to see what other versions say too. Days 30-21: Aug. 7 through Aug. 16 Read Ecclesiastes chapters 1-4. Days 20-11: Aug. 17 through Aug. 26 Read Ecclesiastes chapters 5-8. Days 10-1: Aug. 27 through Sept. 5- 1st class! Our classes are booming! We still need a few more leaders to meet the needs of all the children coming our way. Nursery Attendants -Early Service 8:45 a.m. on 5th Sundays: 2 Adults or 1 adult & a teen Leaders for Kids Worship Down the Hall -2nd Sundays, LATE service: 2 adults to work with 1st-3rd Grad-ers -3rd Sundays, LATE service: 2 adults to work with Preschooler Teachers/Assistants for Elem. Classes Wednesday Nights—people with ESL experience would REALLY be appreciated!
