Family Counseling:
FAMILY COUNSELLING CENTRE:
“Service to mankind is service to god”. We are mainly focusing on women issues,
Awareness on Gender Discrimination, Conducting Legal Awareness Camps, and
Awareness on Domestic violence Act. We screened the film shows in all colleges and High
Schools of three mandals on gender discrimination. We have been running support centre
for women from January 2010 onwards. Certain times even the simple issues in the
families of rural areas are likely to lead the destruction of family institutions. These issues
can easily be resolved at the support centre PRDS is running tailoring centers at
Kothacheruvu and Puttaparthi for poor and needy women at free of cost.
Family counselor Sreevani, know the details from victims.
Indian National Survey said that- India is developed country. They announced recently.
But village development should be done. Now also in villages superstitions are in
prevalence. This is a fact, even though it unbelievable. Before civilization women were
given importance. But now-a-days male were given importance. All the members talks
about the gender equality, but not yet seen.
Lower castes are very much below the poverty line due to their circumstances. But Indian
constitution has given certain privileges for the development of lower castes. Illiteracy,
3
social situations, economic problems, environmental condition, hospitality, family back
ground awareness should be brought in the people regarding all these issues. In the
modern day scenario, women need a lot of safety, freedom and protection. Women are
being subjected to innumerous number of problems and women do not have mental peace
in the society. The development of the nation depends up on the strength of character of
its people. So, everybody should strive hard for the protection of women in the world.
Girls, women in the society face huge number of problems. Every family had show
problem in some farm. PRDS is on it highway to solve their problems to the number
possible, so, PRDS is light in many families without lights.

In rural areas the illiteracy is adding fuel to the fire and families could not avail the legal
support from the government institutions. We started counseling in our office certain
times, even the simple issues in the families of rural areas are likely lead to the
destructions of family institutions. These issues can be easily resolved at our counseling
centre. From 9 years we were solved 611 domestic violence cases and we were avoided 78
4
child marriages only by counseling. Counseling gives good satisfaction to the counselor
after solving the cases.

education program so that the girls coming from the socially and economically backward
communities can come and learn skills in computers.
It is a fact that these trainings are very expensive if want to learn in the private institutes
and the quality of teaching is also not to the expected level in small towns like
Kothacheruvu.
Muneera, computer Faculty teaching the computer fundamentals.
This course of 3 months duration included basics of computers to exclusive class-room
teaching and on-hands sessions in operating system, word processing, desktop publishing

The beneficiary girls are given practical training for 2 hours in the lab along with 2 hours
of class room teaching every day. They have to attend fortnightly tests to assess the level
6
of learning so that any students feeling it difficult or not in a position to understand the
classes can be given special attention to get the course contents perfectly.
Certificates were distributed for the candidates who have successfully completed the 3
months courses.
Student’s opinions:
Hemasree told that she was initially frightened in the computer faculty she was able to get
through and she likes this place.
Vanaja:
Vanaja said that she was very much interested in computer course but due to her
economical problems, she did not join anywhere. Now she is very much grateful to the
PRDS for the computer coaching.

Moral values in education
Speech given by- Monica Anna Muller. Date : 28/12/2018.
Venue -DIET-District institute of educational training college (INDIA), Bukkapatnam
village.
PRDS conducted a program in Bukkapatnam College to explain about day to day changes in present society. Teacher profession is the best in the world. Monika Anna Muller spoke like this:
Monika Anna Muller addressing to the students on moral values in Education
Namaste,
Dear Gurus. Guru is a God,” Guru devobhava”
1st Guru is Mother” Mathrudevobhava”
Mother is our 1st teacher. She teaches us to speak with everyone.
2nd Guru is father “Pithrudevobhava”
Father teaches us how to walk and he gives whatever we like.
3rd Guru is a teacher “Guru devobhava”
Teacher shows the path to our future. Teachers made us to learn all the subjects.
4th Guru is a guest “Athidhidevobhava”
Guest will give good advises to behave properly, he make us to learn how we have to
respect the people.
Everyone is important in our life. We have to take care of others, share things, always cheerful and live in present.
Past is past. We cannot call it back. Future is not in our hands. We can’t say what will happen tomorrow.
20
But present is in our hand. We have to do good things.
Monika anna Muller hand over the books (Chinnakatha Part-1,2,&3) to the Principal.
Morality:
Don’t Drink, Don’t Smoke, Don’t eat Meat, Don’t Beat, Don’t Say Lies.
Drink: Drinking Alcohol is a very bad habit. If you drink you will get disturb to your brain. You cannot speak normally and you don’t know what you are doing that time.
Smoke:
Smoking is harmful to you, it’s injures your health. If you smoke it pollutes surrounding areas. Lungs, Liver, Heart, Brain, eyes all the body system will be effected. Especially face will effect to the smokers. Face gets wrinkles. Beautiful face turns like ugly.
Meat:
We are living things, Animals and birds also living things. Killing animals is a sin. Wild animals attack the domestic animals whenever they feel hungry and they can eat their meat directly without cooking. God created their digestive system like that. But human beings are killing animals and they are eating by cooking because they can’t eat their dead bodies direct. It gives bad smell then also people are adding masalas, spices and eating their dead bodies. If you made someone to kill even birds, that is not correct. Who killed
21
the animals they gets fear. It’s polluted body and mind. Whatever you eat you behave like that. Suppose if you eat a hen you shake your head like a hen and throat problems also occur.
If you eat fish your face become greasy with pimples.
Beating:
As a teacher don’t beat, No need to beat. If you beat a little child with your big hand they can’t bear it. They remembered that pain and they don’t want to give respect to you. If mistake is there you can say in smooth manner.
Don’t say Lies :
Lies leads to corruption. Everyone is lying but don’t lie too much. May be you lie to please someone it will be O.K. But if you lie for certain reason it of-coarse O.k. But saying lies is not correct.
Example: Recently one School higher Authority told lies to me, when I came to know the truth I felt upset. I felt they cheated me. Teachers never do such rubbish things. Teachers have to give answers to everything to the children. They never to be like a question mark. If you are not had morality didn’t become a teacher. Then we can save the children future.
1st Question: If dark skin meets white skin, what will happen?
Money is the Answer. (Only some people)
Money makes many things. Now -a -days everyone needs money. But we should earn money in correct way.
2nd Question:
Why white people come to India?
They look for God. They came to see real God. But here people looking at their money.
Please become nice teachers and nice gurus.
In learning, earning also there. If you learn something you can earn money. But earning knowledge is most important, than you can earn money wherever you goes.
We translated the matter and she said that:
Teacher profession is the best in the world. Teacher has to show affection on their students. Our nation developed by the educated Society. Teachers are role model of the students. Everyone has to think about the society and quality education is important.

Avoid plastic and save environment
PRDS decided to avoid plastic. In order to do that we prepared pamphlets and distributed
in all the villages. We stitched 500 cloth bags and distributed to all the women in
Kothacheruvu and we are saying to the children to say their parents not to use
plastic.Avoiding plastic in our day to day life might seem difficult, but it is much easier
than it appears.
Now-a- days everybody used plastic. Tooth brush, mug, bucket, soap case, water bottles,
tins, coffee cups, tea cups, sitting chairs, sweet boxes everything made by plastic.
Everybody usespalatine covers for everything. So, covers usage is habituated to human
beings. Whether you know you need to start avoiding them.
Unfortunately, it is basically impossible to be 100% free of plastic in our day to day life.
The problem with plastics is all in the chemicals, and how they can pose an adverse risk to
our health. Plastic usage is harmful. Plastic manufacturers are using harmful chemicals. In
2011 government banned 40 microns palatine covers. Every year June 5th, we are
celebrating environmental day. Plastic takes 100 years time to merge in the mud. People
never think about their welfare. When we burn the plastic air will be polluted and it’s
spoiled the atmosphere. By this people get diseases like cancer etc.
We have to follow the rule of‘R’ :
➢ Reduce ➢ Re-cycle ➢ Re-use ➢ Re-cover
Don’t use plastic – Use paper covers.
37
We can use cotton bags for long run.
People are throwing plastic covers and bottles in the drainages; it’s all stopped flowing the
drainage. At that time bacteria will be formed and spreads polluted air, then people gets
diseases. If we pack hot items in palatine covers poisonous gas will be released, with that
many harmful diseases spread to the people. We usually packed the waste in plastic
covers and throwing in the dumping yards. It’s also a cause of spreading Methane gas
which is filled by poisonous. So, we have to avoid plastic.
Waste Materials takes time to merge in the Earth or Clay.
