It is a grant-funded program from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Through the grant, we are now able to offer more coordinated family and community engagement efforts, on behalf of families with children ages 0-8. Its purpose is to connect parents and families in order to develop social, recreational and educational opportunities for Rowley, Newbury and Salisbury residents. Our programs encourage language development with singing, crafts, creative movement and literature and are designed to help parents build connections with other families. All Programs Are Free! For Newbury, Rowley and Salisbury Residents All programs offered by Family Connections are free to Rowley, Salisbury and Newbury residents. Families from other surrounding areas are welcome to participate with a $5 one time registration fee. Whether it is a weekly playgroup or a monthly Lego Club, all of our programs are engaging and educational experiences for your children to learn and make new friends. It is a great time to meet new families and start connecting with other people in your community. The play groups are facilitated by a wonderful instructor who will provide a craft and activity for each day. All families are welcome in each town.
