DAY 1 ARUSHA

Meet at your arrival point and transfer to your lodge for pre-safari briefing.

DAY 2 ARUSHA

After breakfast set off for Lake Duluti for nature walking, bird watching and canoeing fol-lowed by a hearty picnic lunch. Return to the lodge for late afternoon swim and relaxation.

DAY 3 ARUSHA - LAKE MANYARA

Transfer to Esilalei for walking with the Maasai and cultural exploration before heading off

for an afternoon of game viewing in search of the famous tree climbing lion. From a sea of Pink Flamingos as far as the eye can see to bull elephants at close range, Lake Manyara

showcases a superb variety of herd animals and birdlife. Climb onto the Manyara Escarp-

ment, high on the Rift Valley wall for overnight.

DAY 4 LAKE MANYARA - SERENGETI

Breakfast early, then off to the Serengeti - calling in to Oldupai Gorge for a picnic lunch en-route and passing to wonder at Shifting Sands. Afternoon game driving

to our mobile camp; positioned for ultimate wildlife viewing.

DAY 5 SERENGETI

Today we depart for an early morning game drive, and return to the camp for

lunch and resting a little bit and then going back again for the afternoon game

drive. Serengeti is vast and home to millions of plains game and predators, which

form an unforgettable spectacle.

DAY 6 SERENGETI - NGORONGORO

We depart after an early breakfast for game driving to Ngorongoro Conservation

Area. We proceed to Ngorongoro Crater rim for a mid-afternoon in Wilderness

Walk with an armed ranger, or simply straight to the lodge to relax.

FAMILY SAFARIS

Taking your children on safari is both an exciting and rewarding experience. Our son, Rami, started game-viewing at 4 months old and our daughter Eisha at the same age.

We have combined game viewing safaris and cultural experiences to give fami-lies the opportunity to see the story book animals and to learn about other cul-tures along the way. By minimising transfer times between activities our fam-ily itineraries give maxi-mum experience and avoid the dreaded "are we there yet?" questioning.

This morning we depart after break fast in a 4WD vehicle for a full day crater tour, we spend a memorable day exploring the Crater Floor with its unique Wildlife environment

before returning back to Arusha.

Hot Air Balloon Safari

Before the sun rises over the Serengeti (from Nasikia Mobile Camp), transfer to the balloon launch site for

instruction. And as the plains are dotted with the nocturnal species returning to rest or predators on the

prowl, we enjoy a one hour hot air balloon ride above them. When we return to the ground, a cham-

pagne breakfast is served and flight certificates issued – US$599 per person (min 7 yrs old to fly)

Night Game Drive Lake Manyara

From Mandhari Lodge, you can gain the opportunity of a night game drive in Lake Manyara National Park.

Explore the nocturnal animals behaviours by spotlighting with rangers – US$140 per person
