Bid Day 2013 Our beautiful New Member class enjoyed a

fun day of bowling with the chapter. But the Fall 2013 class was not complete without all of

our crowned sisters.

Preparation After a long few weeks of recruitment workshops and then a long few days meeting amazing women, our chapter was ready to welcome those new shining faces. Covered in glitter, face paint and sporting many multi colored tutus, we were so excited to meet all our

amazing new members. Pi Chi

The one thing everyone misses during recruitment is our four sisters, two of which volunteer and two of which are members of our Panhellenic Council, that take potential new members to their parties. Because of this, starting in May they cannot not associate with Zeta Tau Alpha. After we met all our new members, we finally were reunited with those sisters.

The Running One of the highlights of Bid Day is seeing each new member run to their new chapters. This year we were all waiting with glittered signs and bid day bags to finally meet our new sisters.

Bowling

This year we took our new members bowling in Union City. It was a great time to bond with our new sisters, take fun pictures and get to know our chapter.

Big Little Reveal The day the new members and potential bigs

had been waiting for. It was more than they all could have imagined. With tons of gifts,

matching shirts and games, it was a night that would not be forgotten.

Homecoming and Quad City Rope Pull

The nail-biting event of rope pull is one of the biggest crowd pleasers during the week. In this event there are 9 girls in individual holes, 1 who pulls the slack out of the rope and our coaches. Our sisters did an amazing job in their win against Alpha Delta Pi, who had won the past 3 years. Even with a few injuries, our sisters put up a great fight against their other two pulls.

Lip Sync This year our coaches picked the word young to portray throughout our Lip Sync. From aliens, cow tippers and Timone and Pumba, our skit was all encompassing. We had tons and sparkles and our sisterhood shined from the stage.

Pyramid Pyramid was a great way to start wrapping up Homecoming week. Our sisters did an amazing job this year during pyramid. With their sassy routines and beautiful smiles, our sisters were given rave reviews from so many people. Attached is a link where you can watch their performance.

Can Sculpture Our can sculpture went along with the theme of the Roaring 20’s. This year we won Most Creative Greek with an amazing Double Bubble can sculpture.

Homecoming and Quad City

Quad City This year’s tent was decked out top to bottom straight from the pages of The Great Gatsby. With girls in flapper dresses, to gold accents, our tent was one to

reckon with.

Visitors We also had many visitors stop by our tent. From friends and family, to alumnae and sisters, there was always a friendly face.

Homecoming Queen Last year our sister Katie Pigg was crowned Homecoming Queen. This year we had another outstanding representative of our chapter, Tori Johnson. Tori was not only our Sunshine Chair last year, but is also the one who sisters can always turn to when they need a prayer or advice, she is also heavily involved in our schools Baptist College Ministry. This year Katie had the honor of crowning her own sister Homecoming Queen.
