• East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania
• close to NYC (~ 1.5 hours by car/bus)
General information
• ESU has more than 7,000 students
• exchange students arrive few days earlier than American students
on campus orientation week
• exchange students are full-time students
→ 12 credit points = 4 classes
• every class takes place two or three times a week
mandatory attendance
• class requirements (during semester)
→ homework after every session, e.g. reading or exercises
→ quizzes, exams, essays, oral presentations, in-class assignments, finals
• two housing options: Minsi Hall or Hemlock Suites
