GROUP WEDDINGS 2018 ♥ BODAS DEL GRUPO 2018 This past Saturday 6 couples were married in our church. They participated in our parish

group wedding program. We try to make this as easy as possible for couples living together or married civilly for quite some time. There is no charge for the wedding! If you are interested in being part of our next group wedding which will take place in June—then please attend an information meeting (English and Spanish) on Wednesday, December 6 at 6:30 pm in Heafey Hall. Please attend together as a couple to receive this important information where all your questions will be answered. El pasado sábado 6 parejas se casaron en nuestra iglesia. Ellos participaron en nuestro programa de bodas para grupos parroquiales. Tratamos de hacer esto lo más fácil posible para las parejas que viven juntas o se casaron civilmente por bastante tiempo. ¡No hay ningún cargo por la boda! Dear Friends, The parish is pleased to welcome Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio this Sunday. As announced, the Bishop will celebrate the 10 am mass followed by a meeting with our parish trustees, finance council and group leaders. We are grateful for the Bishop’s presence and support to St Bart’s Parish! I am looking forward to our Thanksgiving mass this Thursday at 9:30 am. This has been a wonderful tradition here at St Bart’s as we gather together for the mass and take home delicious Italian bread for our Thanksgiving table. At this mass…if you come 5 minutes late…. you won’t be able to get a seat! Each year more than 1000 people attend. I look forward to be with you this Thursday at 9:30 am in the main church. Indeed we have much to thank God for this year and always.

Queridos amigos, La parroquia se complace en dar la bienvenida al Obispo Nicholas DiMarzio este domingo. Tal como se anunció, el Obispo celebrará la misa de las 10 a.m. seguida de una reunión con nuestros fideicomisarios parroquiales, el consejo de finanzas y los líderes del grupo. ¡Estamos agradecidos por la presencia y el apoyo del obispo a la Parroquia de St Bart! Espero con ansias nuestra misa de Acción de Gracias este jueves a las 9:30 a.m. Esta ha sido una maravillosa tradición aquí en St Bart's mientras nos reunimos para la misa y nos llevamos a casa un delicioso pan italiano para nuestra mesa de Acción de Gracias. En esta misa ... si vienes 5 minutos tarde ... ¡no podrás conseguir un asiento! Cada año asisten más de 1000 personas. This past week we placed the focus on building community. We shared a great moment at our parent meeting, learning how we can better support our youth, and lead them towards Christ. Our guest speaker was Eliana Perez who shared some practical advice on how to help young people manage time.

La semana pasada centramos nuestra atención en construir comunidad. Compartimos un gran momento en nuestra reunión de padres, aprendiendo cómo podemos ayudar mejor a nuestros jóvenes y guiarlos hacia Cristo. Nuestra oradora invitada fue Eliana Pérez, quien compartió algunos consejos prácticos sobre cómo ayudar a los jóvenes a administrar el tiempo.

OUR MASS WILL TAKE PLACE ON THANKSGIVING DAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2017

AT 9:30AM IN THE MAIN CHURCH Everyone should make the effort to attend this beautiful celebration as we

give thanks to God for all of our blessings. Following the mass we will distribute loaves of bread for your own thanksgiving table along with a traditional prayer of blessing

for your food. The mass will be in English and Spanish.
