Fairy House Competition

Houses due by Sept. 15th, 2019Cost: $10Please bring your Fairy House to the Front Gate during our first 3 weekends of Festival before 12pm. This is when you’ll receive your two admission tickets.

Points of Interest•Bring your completed Fairy House and form to the FRONT GATE during our first 3 weekends between 10am-5pm (before noon is preferred)

••Voting will take place throughout the Festival, voting slips will be on the News of the Realm to be ripped off and turned in and counted every end of day.

Please complete this form and bring it with you the day you turn in your Fairy House. Once you pay $10 (cash) you will receive your two admission tickets and a number (#) tag to place on your house for voting. Then you will proceed with your Fairy House into the Festival where you will place it in the Enchanted Forest by the Wildewood.

•Create a strong base to build your house on for easier transport, although make it light enough to carry!•The maximum footprint of your house needs to be 12”x12”, unless the house is built as a tower in which the minimun height would need to be 24”. •Be creative! But please do not make them out of steel, iron, or hematite. These items have been known to have toxic effect on fairies.•Our •Our Fae like to be outdoors, and one simple rainstorm turns our paper houses into a pile of mush. Because of this items cannot be constructed out of paper products. Make sure your Fairy House is durable during weather elements!•Decorate your houses from the inside out!•Our Enchanted Forest has plenty of limbs and gnarls from which to hang houses as well. Many Fae like their houses hanging from the trees. While other, brownies especially, like theirs sitting on the ground directly.
