FAIR Start Event November 7th, 2007
We have a project under way!
Who decided to participate and has not yet started to
work should start now!
Do not wait to get design drawings from somewhere!
You are the designer, producer, installer, commissioner!
JCT -later FAIR GmbH - is ‘just’ project management

Call for Expression of Interest to participate in the construction of FAIR is a
big success:
The FAIR accelerator complex will be built by the leading experts of the FAIR countries!
Something money cannot buy!
Missing EoIs from: France, Greece, Slowenia, UK– Missing MoU countries most urgently invited to follow up the call, since we
need to advance at the ISC meeting on February 18th, upon recommendations of IKAB on January 8th
– Certain overlap of interests require creation of accelerator consortia, e.g. p-Linac, NESR, Super-FRS etc..
– Next steps .....

2nd FAIR institutes meeting
Next Steps:• Detailing of EoIs in upcoming meeting and weeks, especially identification of persons in
charge, better specification of items, collaborations.......active collaboration with international FAIR partners strengthening the FAIR project and the FAIR JCT by detaching people to Darmstadt.
• Preparation of Technical Design Reports
• Setting up of Machine Advisory Committee
• Drafting of contracts where possible
---------------------------------
• ISC meeting 19th of February 2008
• Final Act by FAIR countries’ governments
• Creation of FAIR GmbH early Summer of 2008
• Staffing of managing director positions
• But above all that:
Continue or get started with the FAIR accelerator projects you want to work on!
