Leaflets have produced an introduction towards a company or organisation it's to inform audiences about products or services, leaflets are using mainly for advertising purpose or for information sheets.

Leaflets are used over a range of different organisations from businesses to charities, NHS and many more.

This Poster/Leaflet uses clarity to make a clear and straightforward point this allows it to be easy to understand.

The Vegan Society has manufactured this Leaflet to be concise they have kept it simple by using very little text, they have also avoided ambiguity by making sure that no interpretation is made by being vague, they have identified the 3 main points to veganism and why vegans are vegan.

The accuracy of this leaflet is reliable because it's from a large organisation which is constantly updating their website which the latest facts and figures. This factual writing will be bias because it's trying to inform and promote its readers to try and be vegan for 30 days.

This leaflet is writing to inform readers about vegan The Vegan Society is aiming this leaflet to more the older generation as they have used a registered language.

This leaflet using a mixture of texts, pictures and facts this makes the message of veganism they are spending more believable which means it's likely that is going to reach a large audience. How this leaflet is presented is clear and bold, the color palette is calming and tranquil which identify to readers that veganism will bring peace and harmony.

The image which is the focus point of this leaflet is incredibly striking, using images makes it more real by having that visual connection of seeing animals, also using cute baby animals gets a better reaction from the readers.

They have also used images which is in conjunction to the text, for example the header ‘compassion for animals’ image of a sheep. ‘Justice for people’ images of a person carrying veggies. ‘Protecting the plant’ images of people helping to plant and plant.

Instruction manuals are used to show people how to use or create objects. They give a large range of detail explanations or images to show people how to use a object. Instruction manuals often have ‘step by step’ instructions which are usually incorporated with mixed media such as including images, text and arrows, this makes it easier to understand and copy how to do it. Typography; The font used for this instruction manual is ‘Arial’ this is a clear simple font makes it very easy to read. This instruction manual has also used bold text at the headers of each images this makes it straightforward to see and eye catching, As the person whom is reading this instruction manual is less likely to get confused, because the information has been extracted into small sections which interlinks with the header making it quick and easier to set of the flip video. The color palette for this instruction manual consists of 3 colour black,white and blue. Black and white is a very common colour to see in instruction manuals because these colours identified to be clean, crisp and easy to read it doesn't make the instruction manual seem ‘busy’ by using an array of colours. The only bright colour used is blue, blue is a colour which is a calming colour and looks professional. This instruction manuals accuracy is reliable as its from the flip website this avoids ambiguity because it's come from the website which product the object.

A how to guide gives the person who is reading it advice and tips on how to use the given task though are variety of step by step instructions.

Typography; this how to guide contains calming colors of blue, white and yellow. These colors are eye-catching and draws attention to the guide it also give connotations for the person using the guide to be clam from the choice of colors used. The use of bold headers at the start of each step are simple, eye-catching and effective because it quickly tells the person about uber by using persuasive language to draw them in, this text also has a clear font which makes it standout and is easy to read.

The communication for this how to guide is simple but very effective. Clarity and conciseness makes it aesthetically pleasing for the reader because there isn't a lot of text to read, the layout is simple and in columns which makes it clear and easy to understand and most importantly it avoids ambiguity. Factual journalism is a form of writing which give information to the public usually about world, economics and environmental issues and can be used from newspapers, TV, magazine and websites practically everywhere. Typography; this newspaper front page from the times, uses bold writing to highlight headlines making them eye-catching to their audience this use of bold font makes it more likely that the readers will buy the sunday times more over other use papers because they have highlighted key headlines their audience will be interested in. The different fonts of a mixture of bold and italic text ensures it easy to read and it can also change audiences perception for example “british spies betrayed to russians and chinese” and “isis digs in 400 miles from italy” these two bold text have exactly the same font this give connotations of danger. The use of a black and white layout conforms to the representations of a newspaper articles but it also gives clarity as it’s incredibly easy to read and these colors are eye-catching.

Communication is essential for when producing factual journalism. Accuracy is important because you are informing the public on important matters so referencing sources is highly important to prove the facts are correct and truthful so it avoids ambiguity however in journalism the truth can sometimes become twisted to produce a story that intrigues potential audiences to buy that article also bias reports are common in journalism because when someone is writing an article or report i can be hard not to let your own opinions come into account.

For this factual journalism example the register of language will be formal because the sunday times attracts a higher class of readers whereas factual journalism in the sun for example will use informal writing techniques because not many of the readers are educated enough to understand formal writing.
