FACE DETECTION AND RECOGNITION USING CCTV SURVEILLANCE via ANDROID Divyanshu Parkhe,Anurag Joshi, Kunal Kale,Komal sarode,Pooja Bhoyar Nuva College Of Engg. & Tech., Nagpur,Maharashtra [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] Abstract This paper proposed a system of “FACE DETECTION AND RECOGNITION USING CCTV SURVEILLANCE via ANDROID” mainly focus on Security & Surveillance to protect the Nation and detect the intruder. Nowadays facing number of criminal activity in almost world , the intruder/ criminal can be track using CCTV cameras / footage but many time the face of criminal not detected properly and this situation create lot of difficulty so we can use Face Recognition system to recognize the face. We can work on Face Tracking system in which we can easily track criminal/intruder through CCTV cameras & also we can make an android application for tracking. As a crime is going at its edge, it has become difficult For cops to handle this crimes and track the criminals or other suspected. So this paper proposed a system of tracking criminals using CCTV Camera via Android Application. This system recognizes the criminal by taking the images from live streaming CCTV footage and comparing it with the criminal database and displays particular information if the image matches with the database in which using Android application for ease. Keywords-DBMS,CCTV, Image processing, Android I. INTRODUCTION Face Tracking is a computer technology being used in a variety of applications that identifies human faces in digital images. Face Tracking also refers to the psychological process by which human locate and attend to faces in a visual scene. Face Tracking locates and segments face regions in cluttered images. It has numerous applications in areas like surveillance and security control systems, content-based image retrieval, video conferencing and intelligent human computer interfaces Face Tracking can be regarded as a specific case of Object Class Detection. In object class detection , the task is to find the location and sizes of all objects in an image that belong to a given class. Face Tracking algorithms focus on the tracking frontal human faces. It is analogous to image detection in which the image of person is matches with the image stores in database. Face Tracking plays an important role in today’s world. It has many real-world applications like human/computer interface, surveillance, authentication and video indexing. However research in this field is still young. Interactive Face Recognition (IFR) can benefit the areas of: Law Enforcement, Airport Security, Access Control, Driver's Licenses & Passports, Homeland Defense, Customs & Immigration and Scene Analysis. II.2.Detect the face Inthis step it takes the input from the CCTV and detects the face portion from image and extracts it. I. INTRODUCTION

II.4.Compare with imageIt compare the input images with the images which are alreadystored in database. II.5.Display It displays the information of the person in the image if thematch is found in the database. Else no match found isdisplayed.

III. Proposed System

FACE DETECTION AND RECOGNITION USING CCTVSURVEILLANCE via ANDROID is proposed to identifiedand recognized the criminal,so Eigenvalue/Eigenfaces is usedin system . This values are diffent and particular for differentfaces which can be used to identified and recognized face ofcriminal.

IV. Conclusion

In This paper we have presented Face Detection andRecognition using CCTV Surveillance. User can DetectCriminals by using this smart system of Android. ThisSoftware can play a major role in preventing many criminalactivities from happening. And can be able to trace Intruder/Criminal.
