Brief Job Description
This job role performs facade installation of stick system and structural glazing type of curtain wall andpanels. The individual should have good knowledge of safe working practices and procedures whileworking at heights.
Personal Attributes
The individual is expected to be physically fit and able to work across various locations and heightwithstanding extreme weather/site condition while working. The individual should be organized, diligent,methodical and able to implement and maintain safety practices. Also, have good communication skillsand shall be able to work within a team to handle various facade installation tools and materials and workresponsibly for own work within defined limits.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to install stick system curtainwalls
Scope
The scope covers the following :
Install stick system curtain walls
Elements and Performance Criteria
Install stick system curtain wallsTo be competent, the user/individual on the job must be able to:PC1. identify various components of stick build system including hardware components for
installationPC2. check and ensure wall members are cut to appropriate length prior to installationPC3. install the vertical mullion over the floor edge with a steel angle as per instructionsPC4. install mullions at appropriate spacing as per specificationPC5. provide expansion joint in vertical mullions as per instructionsPC6. attach the horizontal mullion (transom) to vertical mullion to create frame openingPC7. install corner block at the junction of the vertical mullion and railPC8. place and fix panels in both vision area and spandrel panel cover area as per specificationPC9. install vision panels in frame opening between floors as per specificationsPC10. seal the inside of panels using dry gasket or sealant on outside as specifiedPC11. check that each panel is set to plumb and panel joints are uniformly engaged as per

Assessment Guidelines and Assessment Weightage
Assessment Guidelines
1. Criteria for assessment for each Qualification Pack will be created by the Sector Skill Council. EachPerformance Criteria (PC) will be assigned marks proportional to its importance in NOS. SSC will also laydown proportion of marks for Theory and Skills Practical for each PC.
2. The assessment for the knowledge part will be based on knowledge bank of questions created byAssessment Bodies subject to approval by SSC
3. Individual assessment agencies will create unique question papers for knowledge/theory part forassessment of candidates as per assessment criteria given below
4. Individual assessment agencies will create unique evaluations for skill practical for every student ateach examination/training center based on assessment criteria.
5. The passing percentage for each QP will be 70%. To pass the Qualification Pack, every trainee shouldscore a minimum of 70% individually in each NOS.
6. The Assessor shall check the final outcome of the practices while evaluating the steps performed toachieve the final outcome.

7. The trainee shall be provided with a chance to repeat the test to correct his procedures in case ofimproper performance, with a deduction of marks for each iteration.
8. After the certain number of iterations as decided by SSC the trainee is marked as fail, scoring zeromarks for the procedure for the practical activity.
9. In case of successfully passing only certain number of NOSs, the trainee is eligible to take subsequentassessment on the balance NOSs to pass the Qualification Pack within the specified timeframe set by SSC.
10. Minimum duration of Assessment of each QP shall be of 4hrs/trainee.
Minimum Aggregate Passing % at QP Level : 70
(Please note: Every Trainee should score a minimum aggregate passing percentage as specified above, tosuccessfully clear the Qualification Pack assessment.)
