F8 venues F8 venues is a modern, comfortable training room and boardroom for hire in Whitehall Street, Dundee.This presentation will take you through some of the details we’ve thought out to make this venue one of the best in Dundee and perfect for your business’ event be it a presentation, training day, networking event, team meeting or whatever you need.

Figure 8 Consultancy bought the property at 30 Whitehall Street in December 2008 when it looked like this.
We then set about refurbishing the property to create office space for the core business and a training room and boardroom.

modernOur Training Room has a screen and the Boardroom a 42” TV which can be linked up to a laptop to show presentations, videos or just play music. We also have Freesat available in both rooms if you fancy a break.
Our training room features a Walltalker – a wall you can use like a whiteboard.
There’s free wifi and just in case you need to check your emails at lunchtime we have 2 pink computers in the hallway which everyone is free to use.
Both rooms are set up with induction loops for the hard of hearing.

comfortableOur chairs – we tried and a tested a number of chairs for a week each to ensure your comfort.We also know that whatever chair we have it won’t suit everyone so we keep a stock of special orthopaedic cushions including McKenzie lumbar rolls to hand.

The main internal wall which separates our Training room and Boardroom is made up entirely of glass blocks – this was designed during the refurbishment to maximise the natural light coming into the rooms.
Each room has its own air conditioning unit to control the temperature.

just like homeWe import Italian Segafredo coffee for use by our customers.We provide Yorkshire tea and a variety of speciality teas as well as all the fruit juice and iced water you can drink.In the morning there are cereal bars and biscuits to get you going and for the afternoon there’s jelly beans, lollies and other sweets to keep you going.As for lunch well we can order a sandwich selection, soup and a roll or a hot buffet from Wooden Spoon Catering a local social enterprise, who specialise in curry, for you or if you have another caterer you would like to use we can arrange something with them.
