Pumped medium-drilling mud on oil or water basis with the addition of oil and petroleum products from 5% to 20%, chemicals, weighting agent. The total solids content is up to 40% of the volume at a drilling mud density of 20 lb/gal. The size of the solid particles-up to 0.1 mm. Conditional viscosity - from 20 to 100 seconds. Mineralization - up to 15%. The content of dissolved gas - up to 2%.
"Uralmash Oil and Gas Equipment Holding" produces mud pumps with a capacity from 800 to 2200 HP, such as UNBT-600L, UNBT-1180L, UNBT-1600L.
Mud pumps are designed to supply drilling mud in the process of d r i l l i n g d e e p e x p l o r a t i o n a n d production wells, mainly for oil and gas, i n m a c ro c l i m a t i c a re a s w i t h a temperate cl imate categor y U1 according to GOST 15150-69 (-45°C...+40°C).

џ Welded-cast frame housing. The front and side sheets are subjected to ultrasonic inspection for cracks.
џ The hydraulic unit is L-shaped with clearance holes of small diameter. The stress level at the focal points of the cylinders of the hydraulic boxes is
џ High pressure pneumatic compensator of castconstruction provides uneven pressure at the outlet of not more than 5%.
џ The location of the pneumatic compensator at the end of the discharge manifold facilitates the dismantling of the sleeves with a solo-rotary valve.
џ The lubrication and cooling system of the cylinder-piston group provides intensive heat removal from the friction surfaces and prevents air suction through the use of a hydraulic seal, which provides the necessary piston life.
џ Securing the cylinder sleeve with a clamp. This design provides tight contact of the end of the cylinder sleeve and the flange of the hydraulic box with a guaranteed tightening torque and high mounting capacity of the sleeve.
