70% of registered SMEs are owned by women (National Statistics Office, NSO)
69% of start-ups owned by women (Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, GEM)
51% of businesses 1 to 3 years old are owned by women (GEM)
But 66% of established businesses (more than 3 years) are owned by men

49.7% of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are females
53.8% of female OFWs are between 25-34 years old
Only 10% of female OFWs are above 45 year old
51% of female OFWs are unskilledEntrepreneurship promotion will open domestic livelihood opportunities

Proponent is committed in showcasing select project beneficiaries in its franchise show in 2015;
Proponent surveyed the participants on their other needs which can be addressed in future projects;
Proponent is willing to include participants in their mentoring program for MSMEs
