When factored with the eventual launch of Twin Wood, the
Fulshear/ Simonton area could have a population of more than
220,000 people
MOBILITY CAPACITY NEEDED
With this projected population, now is the time to begin ensuring
Mobility Capacity is available.
To answer this need, the County and Development Community are working on the expansion of FM 1093 and the Fulshear Parkway.

The 2035 Traffic Projections indicate a volume of traffic on FM

MOBILITY CAPACITY NEEDED
The County has been working to secure the METRO Right of Way
from Houston to Eagle Lake and it appears that the effort will be
successful.
MOBILITY CAPACITY NEEDED
They have asked the City to re-examine its preferred alignment to
reflect an alignment of FM 1093 that provides for an wider Right of Way than previously approved to
preserve additional future capacity.
