Nehemiah 3:1-4:6

And the leaders stood behind the whole house of Judah, who were

building on the wall. Nehemiah 4:16b-17

Your kingdom come, your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and

rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves

treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where

thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your

Isaiah 45:1, 5-6

“I have stirred him up in righteousness,

and I will make all his ways level; he shall build my city

and set my exiles free, not for price or reward,” says the LORD of hosts.

Of the increase of his government and of peace

there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his

kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it

with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do

you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to

So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, in

fifty-two days. And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations

around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they

perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our

God. Nehemiah 6:15-16

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some

to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare

God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up

until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of

God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of

Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

So we built the wall. And all the wall was joined together to half its height,

for the people had a mind to work. Nehemiah 4:6
